So when do they start background check?? After the initial review is done ??
cause they do backgroud check which is from your PCC and security check which is from CSIS ---- i know CSIS takes a month

You can get it anywhere from June 15th to 30th. Don't worry, keep an eye on your E-case. If it changes to Decision made, or if you get two addresses now, one is your Canadian address and the other one your mailing address (in Pakistan) meaning Visa is going to come in just a couple of weeks after that

Can you please tell us what exactly chc islamabad emailed you??? I mean to ak the context in the email

my file number does not show my pakistani address :s.. what should i do... by the in that barcode wala form i dont know what number that is, i gave my email address to be used as the medium of information sent.. is that the reason.. but then my email address should show na,.. it just says application received and that too on august 9 2011.. nothing after that

when can we order those cgms notes, i applied in august 2011 and application was transferred in october 2011..
im so worried, my address doesnt even show in the status enquiry when i check it through my file number
i got my file number which starts with F with the email my husband got that he is eligible to sponsor me and our file is transferred to isb office
that is the file number only right...

i dont know what to do, i have emailed them too but no reply at all
i hope it gets in process atleast, ill know something is happening with the file at least... not just getting dust in their office,,,

No need to worry dear. It is in process. Ecas may or may not state "in process". Address disappears and reappears. Mine disappeared in Dec 2011 and I received imm forms in Feb. So , hang in there u MIGHT be getting something in the mail. Good luck
