AOA!

I have this question..the email to CHC islamabad regarding RPRFee for the confirmation...should it be done by Sponsor or by the principal applicant?Could anyone pen down the draft email as well ?though I have already drafted it by myself but i just wanted to make sure that I m not missing any point.

Please advice
Regards,

It should be done by the person being sponsored.

when I spoke to CRA - they told me since your husband is a non-resident, I would indicate his income as $0. However for the purposes of HST/GST credits- I should write a letter to them outlining my husband's income for the year 2011.

Thatz right.. They will need your husband's income for GST/HST credits. My accountant told me that sending money to spouse is important as CRA can ask for money transfer receipts anytime if they wish. I don't know if the husband is non-resident would result in $0 automatically. You might want to check with your accountant doing your taxes or read into it somewhere.

Check with your wife, how much fee did she pay in total. If she didn't pay RPRF which is $490 in addition to the other sponsorship fee which is $550. The total fee paid should be $1040. If she didn't pay the remaining $490, she will have to pay it before they will issue you a Visa. She must have a copy of the receipt she sent with the application. Ask her to check the copy and if she didn't pay RPRF fee than she can pay it online and get a receipt from there. You will have to send that receipt to CHC-Islamabad and she will need to send that to CIC-Mississauga for them to verify your payment.

Does your wife not remember how much she paid? Ask her to double check, you don't want her paying twice.. lol

Yeah, I saw your posting. I think I will give it a try and tell them that I have faxed and emailed them 2 weeks ago but still no reply and this is something urgent that needs to be taken care of. I will try to intimidate him with a Canadian accent and hope it works !!! LOL

Hahaha...I did that with Habib Bank AG Zurich in Karachi...I called them for some account details and they wouldn't give it to me because of "privacy" issues. It was my account, a joint account. Then I started talking to them in some hardcore English language. The guy gave the phone to Branch Manager, he started talking to me in broken English. He asked me a few verification questions and gave me all the account details.

Yes, do let them know that its urgent. I am going to have Post Office checked on Monday. Salay postman CHC-I ki mail ka ghosla bana keh baithtay hain aur uskay andar anday bachay detay hain...lolzzz

Hi All,

Can I send my application without australian police certificate that i need to submit and once file is transferred to islamabad, and i get my immigration file number then I send the police certificate? Will it delay my application in anyway, considering everyone gets a re-pcc request anyways?

thanks
