hello folks,,,

i wanted to know if anyone from 0ct 2010 has heard anything from CIC yet... bcz ive been sponsered since oct,2010 and app recieved in isb on 4th nov,2010. its been 15 months since there is no reply from the embassy. i had mailed them and they replied that " file is in queue with the immigration officer" my wife has sponsered me..n now we are also married since 4 months,,so should i send them my wedding pics volunatarily or should i wait???
please do help me in this regard...

Send them everything ASAP including your wifes passport entry/Exit stamps, so they later dont ask you proof showing if she has left the country --- also provide emails and latest chat logs and all other necessay info

Sent my email to Mr.Imran Ali.. Got the following response :
"Ali this needs to be raised collectively with the immigration minister
Thanks for your email we are taking it up in Ottawa and Islamabad"

I am suggesting 2 more options.

We need to define our strategy first. In fact we should have multi prong strategies. e-g

1-Involve Pakistani Foreign Office
2-Letters/email to Pakistani Media
3- Letters/email to Canadian Media
4- Letters/emails to Local MPs
5- Facebook accounts ( Jason Kenny, CIC, Conservatives, NDP,Liberal) Contact opposition parties in group and get their view point and position on this issues.
6- Involve local pakistani.. Including political Parties (PTI,MQM..etc)
7- Legal Procedure e-g human right complaint. Law suit
8- contact to other communities who are suffering similar to us.

For now we are trying to get in touch with Pakistani foreign officials in Canada. I think the next thing should be sending emails to the Minister and then so on other things. Lets hit it one by one -- not a lot of people interested anyways --
