CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2011 -2012

They will reply to his emails if he provides his information and file number. If you have already provided File number to him then I am afraid he will get a reply if he emails them directly. As far as I know there is no way you can block him from getting emails as he is the applicant.

i havent provided him file # yet but if CHC-I email him then he will get it for sure..... and as u told me i cant change email to mine so he is gonna handle everything... what abt address? can i change mailing address????

Hey guys. How long does it take for the Immigration Centre in Missassauga to acknowledge that they have received the application for the first time, and what mode do they use? Do they email?

I sent my application on 8th October, just wondering.

Address could only be changed with a change of address letter that he will have to sign.

Currently its taking them 69 days and they are working on applications received on August 2, 2011.

They will send you a letter stating that you are approved as a sponsor and the file is transfered to CHC-Islamabad.

Nope.. If you sent it with TCS, you can check the date it was delivered using TCS tracking number on TCS's website.

Syedgj ! no Mississauga does not send any acknowledgment letter, just their decision letter. I received my decision letter only within 15 days from them but it was last year but now they are taking somewhere between 45 to 60 days.

if u recieved the e-mail with client id and file number that was ur approval letter brother so u can print that off and go ahead with the quebec application there is no letter in the mail

r u visiting pak soon...bro my anniversary is next month...and its my first 1...n without my wife....i feel soooo sad thinking about how i would feel on that day...u said u got married around the same time as me...in nov 2010...i can't go b/c i already went on eid...i think you should go and celebrate your first anniversary...

ohh ya...i went to my rep to submit all the documents...he is really cheap so he said he can't FedEx it...i can pick it up in a few days from his place and i can FedEx it myself to CHC-I

my question is...does CHC-I accept FedEx couriers?

Welcome to the forum brother!

You will get all the originals back when your wife gets her Visa, so you are looking at 16 months if your case is straight forward. Make copies of all the originals you are sending and if possible get it attested. Also, it would be a good idea to scan the originals and keep an electronic copy of it just incase if she needs it for something. Everyone from Pakistan is supposed to send the original birth certificate, educational certificates, Nikkah nama/ Marriage certificate etc, so there is no way to avoid it.
