Received 32 pages of GCMS notes today... few questions please assist...

a) does 1 stand for pass or fail?
b) The sponsor and applicant appear to be in a bona fide spousal relationship as they are legally married, they have consummated the marriage and have provided evidence of an ongoing spousal relationship. Applicant appears to meet the definition of a member of the family class. File grouped to WVR and assigned to GSA..File to PA/REG….

any input is much appreciated :-X

To summarize it, they don't have any issues with your relationship. You will get PPR once your bakground checks are complete.

You will always see "Started" "Not started" and "pass" for eligiblity and security screening. 1 stands for the latest activity.

If the E-case changes from "Application Received" to "In process", it means that they did the first review on your file. In most husband cases, the background check is done after the Re-medical results are received. Those cases where they ask for Re-med and PPR right after the first review get their background checks earlier. It all depends on how complete the file is. If the file is complete i.e. all the forms are filled correctly, documents and PCC are valid and all the requirements are fullfilled; then they perform background and security checks even before the first review. While most of the husband cases need a PCC so they get the forms and PCC request, then remedical and then PPR after the background checks are complete.
In my ecas it shows Application recived...means they didnt do background and security checks yet, even did remedical in july

These seem to be complicated, do you have any guidebook or something to read them? If yes, then pls let me know as i am waiting for my GCMS notes too. Btw how long did they take to send you these notes?

mine is a wife case, and i got a PCC request. Don't all wife cases get RePCC?

Not all wife cases get Re-PCC. It all depends on the immigration officer. Some PCC's are valid for 12 months, some are only valid for 6 and 3 months. That's why some wife cases get a PCC request.

okay, thanks.

They sent me a remedical letter in May, and my file is with decision-making officer since august. What could be taking them so long to issue me a PPR? or are there any chances that i am in the interview queue? BTW they never asked me for more proof of relationship.

I don't think they need more proof of relationship from you. If they needed more, they would have asked you for it. Have you ordered GCMS notes yet ? You will get a better picture of what they think of your relationship when you get GCMS notes.

Maybe they are waiting for a new Visa quota and then ask for PPR. Usually at this time of the year, they send the last batch of PPRs till November 15th so they can issue all the Visa's in late Nov and early dec.

The embassy is really slow from Dec 15 - Jan 15th as per my observation for the last 2 years.

You have to check E-case using your wife's file number and her information to get to know the actual status of application.
