This is why you should have sent the medical payment receipt along with a cover letter stating that you have done your medicals. They would have tried to look for your medicals right away. I sent a cover letter and medical payment receipt along with the passport stating that my wife has done the medicals. When I got GCMS notes after my wife got the visa, there were several references of the emails b/w the doctor in Islamabad and New Delhi asking them to update the results. My wife sent her passport on May 1st along with the medical receipt and cover letter and she got her Visa on June 1st, i.e. 30 days. Ah well atleast they are going to look for your medical now. I strongly suggest everyone to send cover letters with anything they sent to CHC-Islamabad and always keep a copy of whatever you send to Islamabad.

danny i did sent the reciept of my medical and a cover letter but that was not wd passport . i sent it two monthes after i sent my passports. anyways i just praya wish that they shud track down the medical results soon.

thats good news....what did you ask her ?

i asked her why is there delay in the passports return and she said its bcz med results are not recieved. so i asked her what is the next step now and she said that they will track down it from new dehli. i asked her " are u sure u will do it " she laughed and said offcourse. i said that actually i am very much worried and and she said there is no need to worry.
then i asked her when will i get the passport back and she said as sson as they get the med results.

Its normal. Im sure they have your PCC but havent started processing it yet. Dude these security and background checks can take up to 4 months and sometimes even more depending on the travel history, educational record check, marriage nikah nama check blah blah so chill out and relax and hope that your turn in the queue comes up soon.

personally i think they dont touch your file for the first 11 months after youve applied.

So its basically just a waiting game now ? Also .. some of these timelines say "Medical Received", my husband's medical was sent along with the initial application we filed as thats what our lawyer told us to do so. If they need anything else they'll let us know right?

yes, if they require anything they will contact you.. and your lawyer was right about sending medical with initial application package....
if they wind up your case before your first medical expires(thats what they did with couple of forum members and i hope u will be done soon too) then you will be good otherwise you will receive remedical request...

Dear Friends,

I ordered GCMS notes recently and this is what it says:

"...Final reception is not yet held and expected to take place in Feb 2013 after completion of studies. File remains in INTERVIEW queue..."

I had told them through a cover letter that I will have rukhsati in Feb 2013 when my wife finishes her studies. Would it possible for the interview to be waived once I provide proof of Rukhsati or is this something that cannot possibly change?

About the proof for contact, they have written that they are "Found ok" and they also have no objections to the marriage itself.

Any help/thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

provide them the rukhsati proofs and your interview will be waived i am sure InshaAllah! dont delay your reception or it will delay your case

If you are a girl, you are a doll and if you are a guy, you are a champ! Lol thanks for the detailed reply. I am kinda scared, one of the forum members say its a better idea to visit once again to make my case stronger as I only lived with my spouse for 2 weeks after our wedding. I am in university and go to work at the same time, its nearly impossible for me to visit Pakistan till April anyways .
