You cant go the the border yout self, you contact vive lacasa (non goverment agency in Buffalo) to forward the papers
Immigration section in Buffalo, withing 2 to 4 days they will call & give you date to come to the border woth some instructions:

so I went to buffalo,and advised the immigration officer I am here to pick up my brother in law.
they took my PR card and asked to wait 30 min later I was invited inside, where they completed the paper work
at about 3 we left buffalo/canada.
He since lives here in Vaughan and is waiting for his inland sponsor ship to be completed.

I met a few pakistanis at vive in buffalo who were in the same situation.

Are you aware that for immigration, deception is usually grounds for refusal, claiming asylum and then saying inland family class ... How do you know the case has been accepted? If anything it's nice that spouses can be together but there's too much of a chance for problems.

Yea i know sister... I dont think of doing that because my case is almost done inshaAllah so y would i do that... But if there is someone who wants to do it there are some reasons behind it... Its better to do it now than to sit and cry forever if sumone deceives the person after coming here, u know sincerity is most imp in this relation n if someone is not sincere and got married just for the visa so i guess that relation cant stay forever ....

for everyone living in canada waiting for your spouse ....... its not easy ....... most of us somewhat knew about the waiting time before we applied ......... we all miss our spouses soooo very much ........ when ever you think your missing your partner tooo much ....... please use one of the thingies that almost all of us receive every two weeks ........ i think that is called "pay cheque" ..... use a couple of the pay cheques and visit THE MOST IMPORTANT PERSON IN YOUR LIFE ......... rather then going out and starting a new adventure ....... because personally i am too tired to start something new ...... and ironically everyone who's application is few steps away from visa is going out to try something new ....... please have some IMAN and stay put this will be over soon and inshAllah we will all be with our partners inshAllah

I have hard time to believe that you can just get USA visit visa that easy and then come to Canadian border and say the magic word faily re unification and they let you in. If it is that easy then why all these people are waiting in the list ?

dont try this if it does not work then she will face problem in getting immigration from pakistan as well. when my husband moved to canada we both live in USA he has PR so he moved and people gave me same advice, but i researched on that then i found out that mostly they reject these type of cases it has bad impact even on your case when you apply from outland. and for asylum ,, i think asylum should me the last option for any one because if you get asylum you have to forget your family in pakistan which surely females cant do,
