Early last week, it showed on my ECAS that the medical results have been received. This morning, it shows that the decision has been made.
From what I gather, this means they have probably stamped the passport, and I should get it in about one to two weeks.
I originally applied on the 27th of May, 2011, so this means end to end, the process took roughly 17-18 months. My case was a full marriage case, and I visited my wife only once during this past year, only for 12 days, but took allot of pictures with family members, no outings, no honeymoon, just visiting extended family on both sides. I voluntarily send the pics, ticket receipt and boarding cards of my visit, did not receive any request for further info.
Two things I did differently was that I had my nikah performed on an english document, so no translation was required, and I translated all my wife's remaining documents myself, no notary public, or no official translator.
I am outlining these details because this may be of some help to others.
