thts not true MPS CANT force or help to speed up the process..
my husband met MP ALSO.. and the best they did was got a reply from islamabad within a day.. regarding the status of the file..

Thanks dear Rita. actually my lawyer is asking my case through MP from Islamabad to see the whole profile what is going on....he also asked to pay him 500 dollors...

ur lawyer and ur MP both in canada rite ? can u pls tell me ur lawyers name? and ur paying $ 500 to ur MP for asking immigration about ur case ?

they still haven't issued the visa and I have the deadline of 25th Sep to land there otherwise my medical will expire. there are only 19 days left for that. I wonder what happens if the medical expires and they have already asked for passport and haven't sent it back yet. Any idea anyone?

Allah na karey but if thry dont issue ur visa before 25th sep.. ul ve to get ur med done again.. cuz same thing happened wth my frnd.. she got ppr but medical expired n then she had to get her med done again n then they issued her the visa

e-cas status changed to canadian home address from paki address August 30.2012
Passport received with visa [ALHAMDULILLAH] Sep.5.2012
Visa issued Date August.13.2012
