CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2011 -2012

can anyone help me plz? my file was transferred to ISB 29 May 2012, i received letter from Mississauga that file transferred to isb but i have not received any acknowledgment from isb yet is it normal? when should expect it?

mostly when you start getting used of waiting you receive somthing other then that WELCOME TO THE FORUM
by the way you can still go online and check your file status

they will update the website may be once a year but other then that
like is said its all about WAITING AND WONDERING

halloo to all of you . some body helep me please . my case changed to IN PROCESS from 7 jun 2012 but i did not heard anything from CHC islamabad yet. i did fax and i did send mail to them but i did not recevied any answer from them . i dont know what i do ? help pleas ?

Yes you are correct "hopeful in waiting". I did recieve a file number from CIC-M when file was transferred. I was just claiming the CHC never contacted me upon reception (which I know they stop doing). The only problem with that is your anxiously waiting for any sort of response (with the fear; that is your file even there safely?). You point makes sense, adding additonal info may alter file queue. I will wait until they ask then....

Don't fear, if CPC-M has transferred it, then it IS with CHC-I, and they should not lose it (personal and confidential info in their custody).
It's hard, but try not to worry too much about the file. Unfortunately CHC does not provide any contact through the whole process.. but the more you think about it, the slower time will pass.

My husband sent it with TCS too, they don't do prepaid delivery, but that's okay. You'll just pay when it comes back.

Sawera, thanks! And you're probably right, if it's a re-med and ppr that you and Tinno had done (with 45 days time given) then you should hopefully get the pp back by month end, InshAllah!

wow!! MashAllah you're so lucky!! It's been 17 months since I applied and still waiting for PPR You're the first husband case I have seen processed so quickly.. What's your secret?? No, I did the filing myself, or I should say with my hubby. But I made sure to get all the information I could get before filing, and asked as many sources for tip as possible: friends, neighbours, colleagues, friends of friends. We started looking at all the forms and requirements months before the wedding, and spent 2-3 months after the wedding completing everything.

Mostly we just made sure to have as perfect a filing as possible, and avoid all the mistakes we were warned against. If CHC finds nothing to object against a file, they have no reason to delay it. I will make a post of all the helpful TIPS I got from others that I think are important before filing, but it might take some time.

After filing, not much can be done but waiting. I did visit my husband this june, because I had no idea how long the processing would be, and was planning to submit the proofs after ordering CGSMs, but before they even came back, hubby got PPR, which was the first contact from CHC!

How long does it take for the passport to be returned with the visa after the medical has been received? My husband sent in his re-med and passport on July 18. The status was updated online to "medical received" on August 10. How much is the wait time to get the passport back? Thanks!

they opened the file but they didnt contact me
i guess inshAllah we will hear from them after Eid
but your guess is as good as mine

BTW right about now you can try doing what i did
tell someone in pakistan to pay some serious EIDI to post man 8)
