does that mean it could be any kind of mail service so one should keep eyes open for all kinds of mail mostly because if its pakistan post they dont call you if there is no one there to receive the mail

its usually just a simple envelope with "do ur medical" instructions in it. n no pakistan post doesnt call they will just come n deliver the mail. u can give ur post man a tip of some sort to encourage him to come as soon as he get any mail for u

how / when do you know that your interview has been waived

is it before or after they ask you for re medical ???

from wht i have read on this forum....once u get ur ppr then u know for sure ur interview has been waived off.

expect for dis one case i read where dis guy got his ppr and a week later he got an interview call. He got his visa. I think it was a bit of misunderstanding on CHC part.

dis was the only case i came across who was called for an interview after PPR...

in the time line for most of you
"med request"
is that the first medical or the re medical
and do you get this request by through pakistan post mail or TCS

in my case there is no "medical results received" mentioned (for first medical) .

Hopefully CHC will mention the re medical.

Does the forum gang think its a good idea to send a voluntary supp forms (to furthur prove genuinity of case), even though you haven't heard anything from CHC since file transfer??

I don't want to send my new forms and proofs and CHC wont know what file it belongs to. (Cause they never put a file through process, because no info is provided since transfer)

u can send voluntary information (more pics, money transfer receipt, telephone log etc) to prove genuinity of case. however i wud not recommend sending supp forms till they ask u for it.

beside i dont think u have ur file no yet?? m i rite?? so better stay put

After how many days did ur husband get the passport back after ppr?

Alhumdulilah in 9 days, visa issued in 6 (calendar days not business) .. but his case was rushed more than usual because his meds were about to expire (visa validity only one month), so ppr letter asked for passport in 5 days from letter issue, letter was posted 2 days late, then TCS contacted husband 2 days late .. he got the letter on the 5th day and sent in all required info same day.
For most cases, your file review date should be, IMO, 30 days (if letter asks for return in 15 days) from the date on ppr letter, or 60 days (if letter asks for return in 45 days)..from that point on should be a week or so to issue visa.

Emanzaib, thanks! I've been a silent reader of this forum for over two years, created an account over a year ago too, but never posted, never had the need to. But I see a lot of people getting frustrated now so wanted to help all I can. Especially now since my biggest worry is over (ALHUMDULILAH).
I don't want people to get discouraged or more anxious about their timelines, esp 2010 cases, or anyone that's been waiting long. Please know that Allah (SWT) see's your struggle and he does have a plan for you, it will all come though, InshAllah. You also have everyone's prayers who has had to see this difficult wait time.

The best advise I can share is to put the best effort possible in your preparation of the sponsorship file! Pre-plan as much as possible, to avoid future stress. There is not much you can do once the file is submitted, but wait and hope, and pray.

There are no given specifics as to when it will implement, but according to MP's/local immigration lawyers it should be by this year fall/winter. The way CHC is working, it seems to me, mid-sept.
