Hi Jay,

If it is remedical and PPR together, you have 30 days to submit everything together as mentioned on the letter. If they don't get the medical and Passport in 30 days, they review the file again after 60 days. They further wait for 30 more days and then if they still didn't get your Re-med and Passport after 90 days in total, then they call you and ask you why you havn't done the medical and sent in passport yet.

I wonder, my situation was that they sent docs request but I couldn't get all the docs together in the time that was allotted initially. For one thing I received the letter 15 days after the date of letter and because we had to get PCC from Quetta and find union council to get the Nika Nama...I sent the forms and proofs they asked for with a letter explaining the situation + emailed for extension request (which I have never heard back from them about).

We are just waiting to receive PCC from Quetta (someone has mailed it to us) and then we'll send the rest of the docs. I am sure this is causing delays but I am wondering how often would they look at my file or check to see if they received the remaining docs? Or do they just wait until they get the docs in the mail to proceed further?

Thanks for the info -- My wifes only got the PPR and they asked to submit the passport within 15 days -- I believe its different when you have PPR with Re-MEd?

I am guessing your wife already got her Re-med done earlier?

If that's the case, then the Visa usually comes anytime from a week to 30 days usually. It is recommended that she submits her passport in 15 days as the remedical is already done earlier. So once your wife submits her passport, then her passport could come back anywhere from 1 week to 4 weeks.

Danny I think the same case with me.... I received the letter on 7th June 2012, the letter dated 16th May 2012. I done my re-medical on 25th June 2012 and on the same day I send the Passport. My re-medical updated by CIC on 7th July 2012 and till today my status shows ' In process'

Danny I think the same case with me.... I received the letter on 7th June 2012, the letter dated 16th May 2012. I done my re-medical on 25th June 2012 and on the same day I send the Passport. My re-medical updated by CIC on 7th July 2012 and till today my status shows ' In process'

Your bring forward date is 16th August (file review date), so your Visa would come most likely anywhere from 20th-31st august InshaAllah.

My hubby and I are first cousins and our marriage was arranged, so obviously its not like a scenario where I have an actual date when we first met or anything.
