Can anyone plz tell me that is isb going to send me any acknowledgement letter? i send file to mississauga on FEB 14, 2012 and file transferred to isb May 29 2012, i received letter from Mississauga that my file was transferred to isb, now how would i know that isb received it? i see my status online with application number and it says ' we received your application on Feb 15 2012'.

Mississauga took 3 months to transfer file to isb, does anyone know that if isb will start initial review in 6 months now? as Mississauga is taking 3 months to transfer files these days.

Correct.

Your time starts from when the application was sent to Mississauga for acceptance.

So its taking roughly 9 months for the initial review, then another 5 months for the remedical, Repolice and PPR back.

Just looking for some advice

Haven't done the rukhsati tango yet (was planned for May but mom was diagnosed with cancer, treatments almost killed her)
So, I'm thinking of going down to the Pak in the fall to hang out with the old lady for a month or so.
Would this make any difference to those nazi's at CHC-I or will I be just scrutinized just as much as if I didn't go?

I guess you don't have to worry about you address. Because E- Cuse system designs to show Canadian address sense our Pakistani Addresses are in deferent formats
That's why E- Case always shows address looks like incomplete but actually is not.

Aren't the suppose to send all the documents to my address in Pakistan? Also, should i be worried about the re-med request...i mean its been a while since I sent those additional docs.

it does not matter from where u start counting.there is no hard n fast rule about it.on average it is taking a year to a year n half from application filed till visa...so u start counting from app filed.n start worrying when atleast a year has passed which in ur case is dec 2012
