CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2011 -2012

hi seniors,

I checked today my wife online file status shows, 'Medical result received ' , let me know wht is next and how long it takes after this sign, one more thing, in address colum it shows our lawyers office address, should I change it to my Canadian residence address.

Please advise.

Just now i received a letter from Canadian embassy asking for main paragraph regarding IMM8 schedule a and IMM5406 but underneath there are four options for downloading the forms and they have checked form for supplementary information only.
My question is do i need to send all the form like IMM8, IMM5406 and supplementary information or only supplementary information form downloadable from the link checked by Canadian embassy.

Secondly they have asked for proof of fund but i never anticipated that they will ask that sort of thing and so i have not kept in record of that so what to do?
Thirdly communication proof like greeting cards or phone bills and once agains thanks to com age no record , so what to do

i got the same request..just send the supplementary form, they have the rest.
as for proof of fund..it may include money transfer receipts, joint account if any, money transfer to bank, or if your spouse is self sufficient you can explain that your spouse is not dependent on you for financial assistance. Instead if you have made any purchases, gifts etc send receipts if you have any.
lastly, i communicate with my husband basically through skype so what i did was sent print outs of skype logs, Msn chat history, and we had phone bills (if you use a service provider even if you use prepaid credit they do have calling history). Also emails are good too. Try to get as much as you can.

Me and you have the exact same time line and also I didn't send the mentioned document voluntarily
my address appear two weeks ago... Did your address disappear and appear back....

you dont have to change your lawyers address..we too had our lawyers address and this is because when you hire one, they are authorized to obtain letters/correspondence from CHC-I. In our case the lawyer address was there as the mailing address along with my husbands home address all the time till we received Docs request from CHC-I, a day before the request, my pak address appeared which was never there from the start and in place of the mailing address, which was our lawyers office address, my husbands home address appeared ie both residential and mailing address became same. Also a week after i received request from CHC-I, my husband received the same letter at his residential address..does your canadian address appear anywhere at all?

Are you saying that getting married to a girl who is <18 is a child marriage yah akhi? Iss ka matlab ke mainay child marriage kar li hai?
Look friend, the fact is that in Canada you can get married if your 16 or older.
if you are <18, then you just need the permission of your guardian.
The same is the Law of the land in Pakistan.

So we know that it is within the law to get married at the age of 16 in both Pk and Canada, the question is: that does CIC hold a bias against marriages which are completely complacent with the law?

They, as in CIC. I dont think the statement he made came loaded with any of his own precognitive bias.

bro, i know the under 16 holds true in quebec, for other provinces i believe it is still under 18... but whats done is done, dont lose sweat over this... you might be out of luck if she is under 18 and then you are say 26+.... you have a lawyer i believe, and just stay firm on his advise...

yea bro, talked to a lawyer and immigration consultants around town and also know some people personally who got married to <18 girls. So im not too concerned with whether its allowed or not. It is actually quite common.
My main concern is, how much will this hold up my case, because I know a friend who was in the same situation in 2009 and his case went through smoothly in 10 months.
Kher, leave it up to Allah, I am planning to provide a lot of proofs and see what happens after that.

ON CIC web side Dr. Roohina Sattar address is different

but the document which the Islamabad Embasey send is different

please help
