Let me ask you how did you know your file transfer to Islamabad? Probably by email from CIC Mississauga Right?
Now take care fully a look on that email there is should be 10 Digit File Number like: F000012345
If you cannot find file number there then email to CHI...

My wife received the passport on May 16th. Along the passport, CHC returned all the documents and pictures.

I cannot thank Allah enough. These were one of the difficult 13 months. Finally IA by the end of this month, I will be reuniting with my lovely family.

I also want to thank each one of you for your support, answering some stupid questions posted by me.

Because of work and other things happening in my life, I am not able to come to the website everyday, but if you send me an email, I can reply to it really quick.

Yesterday mrahmani found this similar change in her ecase!That they started processing on 15th may...and today she got ppr!So its just a matter of few days now !

My Ecas has changed to In Process on May 15th 2012

Dear Anso Bhai,

I have a problem i need your help, My spouse receive gcms file no from chc with the first letter asking some docs in dec 2011, so she sent all documents to chc isb on january after that we did not received any letter, now i want to check the application status of my spouse? i dont know what to do ? please help me.

First of all Brother... i don't under stand what is GCms File Number ? I never Heard before about Gcms File Number ..But Your wife should have Application Number which they use as File Number.
And 2nd thing is that if u want to check Application status of your spouse, you can check by your client id number.( you can find your client id on PR card .. it should b " 8 " digit.

3 - Identification Type:- Slect ( Client id Number / Unique Client Identifier )
Identification Number:- Type ( your 8 digit client id Number .. you can find your client id on PR card )
Surname/Family Name:- Type ( your Family Name )
Date of Birth:- Type ( your date of Birth )
Place of Birth:- Type ( your Place of Birth )
......................
In Dec, 2012 , when Your wife Got Acknowledgement letter with Documents requestd, On the 1st page of your letter you should see " UcI Number "
with Applicattion Number , The Application Number is your Spouse file Number, Paper Number.

May b Now u find Your file Number etc etc
