Hello,

I am a new user to this forum and was wondering if someone could help me out. Today Alhumdulillah I recieved a request for a remedical for my husband's application. We were married in Feb 2011 and applied in March 2011. Along with the request for remedical we also recieved a request for him to send his origional passport and 2 passport sized photographs. I have a few questions...Firstly, because they did not request any additional proof does that mean the rest of our file is ok and they do not require any other information? Also, if they required an interview would this information have been mailed along with the request for a remedical? Lastly, is it usual for a request for the origional passport to be made at this time and if so, where does that put us in the timeline? Sorry for asking so many questions but I appreciate any help! Thanks.

Congratulations.. They are satisfied with your application and don't require any further proof at the moment. As far as I understood your post, your husband got a medical request and passport request right? He needs to get an appointment for his medical and take his passport and 5 pix along with the section A form and the remedical letter to the doctor. After he is done with the remedical he can send his passport with the 2 pix and the filled form. Your case will probably take 2-3 more months or so in my opinion.

My Immigration case has been started on August 05, 2011, so its been 8 months now the case has been started. Total time shown by cic website is 26 months. can anyone tell me please, is this maximum time period? can we get our visa within this time period?

You are right I and my wife is passing through very hard time but we can try at our best;I have sent them maximum possible documents and information about relationship.But I think they shouldnt need any proof greater than this that we are the father of our chidren if they can understand our social culture.anyhow hope for the best,

My wife was also 5 monhs pregnent when she applied for my sponsorship. She also got a letter from the doctor. We applied June 2011 and are still waiting to hear from CHC-i. It seems that they do not consider this an important issue. I now have a beautiful daughter. she is 5 months old nowand I am still waiting to hear from CHC.

They didn't pay much attention to my case but there is nothing wrong in trying. Send them the doctor's letter along with an emotional cover letter, maybe they will consider it.your wife is going through a very tough time alone. I hope you can be there when your little angel is born.

wife did re med and by reading someones post here called the doc in lahore and got my tracking number for dhl. the medical arrived in delhi on march 12. Now the question is do they mail in back to islamabad and if yes after how long or how long is the process in delhi and how do islamabad gets the results?

clearly you can tell im getting impatient with this even though i know its almost the last thing they have to check.

by the way for those who dont know... applied for wife on jan 2011 she get re med and send in passport request on feb 2012 and her re med has now arrived in delhi. dont know whats next?? any aides??

Is there anyone who send Re-pcc, Imm forms and other documents to Immigration Section and got a reply ??? Everyone here is saying that the docs should be referred to Visa section but my letter said to refer the docs to imm section ! Please need an urgent reply

Immigration is a lengthy and timie taking Process. Certainly it requires courage and patience during this period. I have seen most of the people looking for news, updates and information on daily and hourly basis. I personally belive that it only adds Frustration and gives more stressful feeling both about the individual daily life and the immigration process. Your worries, concerns and time can't shorten the lenght of any application. But YES, this is always wise to keep your eyes open and see what is going on and discuss any particular issue. May Allah Bless all of you and I wish you to be with your loved ones as Sooner as Possible. But please dont make this Canadian immigration Period a Hell for yourself and try to focus with your other engagements. Dont let it run all the time in your Head. AS I Am FSW Immigrant of 2010 and i proceeded alone without my family at that time, So I am going thorough this process for Second time. And now i am sponsor of my spouse and 3 kids back home in Pakistan. I miss them every Second but Just waiting and of being a Muslim belive that they will be here when Allah will bless me with them. Well the recent good news is they erased ALL cases prior to 2008. That should help speed things up!

This is not a Good News Man. They were also families and were waiting from last 5-7 Years. Dont be selfish

Hi Red Jeans, i sent my docs + Re-PCC + Re-Med to Immigration section as well in March 2012 but no reply yet and this was the address written on the letter to reply.

Thanks Usrain…I called up the embassy to confirm where to mail the re-pcc, imm forms etc .. He said immigration and visa section are same..You can address to either of the section , it wouldn’t make any difference 
