Hi Dear Luck007,

its great that you have done all your forms, I just want to add couple of more suggestion based on my personal experience dealing with CIC, I have been here in Canada for almonst 20 years, please do the following :

* In the top of your application complete make sure you give proper answer to all forms, specially the part of sponsorship Question part that talks a bout your relationship details from development to Wedding, explain it as best as possible if you need more space use attachment paper, the rest is just bio info about you and your spouse, make sure all question answered in all forms, if its not applicable wright N/A but dont leave it empty, make sure your correspondence address is all correct 100% it save you a lot of time and terrible when they want to contact you and please provide them a valid email address so they can communicate with you via email its the best way to contact you its quick, save and secure.

* In respect to your original documents, you can send them the original and they will return it to you when the application is finalized, either approved or refuse, BUT you can send them the certified copies of all document if you wish it will cost you some money it has to be done through Lawyer or Notary Public here in Canada you can shop around and find a cheap one there are some mobile notary public they will come to your place of choice to certified it for you, its legal and its as good as original and acceptable by all Govt Agency in Canada specially if you dont want to take risk of losing your originals by mail or other circumstances, please keep that in mind that if you are not sure about the document nature or genuineness please don't submit it at all or not mention it any case very important.

* Please attach as much as supporting documents you can, pictures, emails, chat logs, money transfer slips, wedding expenses slips, your passport bio data page with your entry/exit stamp of visiting your spouse for wedding or trip, boarding passes, E ticket all of that don't worry send it all, when it comes to your pictures send them all like you telling them your love journey from start to end, send all the important pictures of important moments like for example exchanging your ring, Nikha and the rest make sure you mark all names in pictures who they are and date picture was taken and keep the note for your self if they ask you or your spouse for interview you know it all.

* Make sure all complete, signed and all fees are paid, keep photo copies of everything for your own record and communicate all with your spouse at the later date to be ready and informed, that is it my friend send through registered mail and believe me if you do what I told you, the rest is smooth, we all live and learn, take care my friend and wish you all the best, I have given my best advice to you for free please help others and share it, if you went through consultant or Lawyer that will cost here in Canada some where around $4000 to $6000, please keep me on your pryer my friend, wish you all the best and good luck and more important get your visa soon.

Yes I am a husband case. Background checks are based on how much you have traveled and which countries you traveled to. So the more your wife has traveled the more time the bg checks will take.

PP expiry is aug 21 that means visa valid till 21 aug and not till 25th of july as your medical expiring on 25th july, and i have heard that visa is expired once medical is expired so am kinda confused now

Yes that's wat I heard but then someone also told me now if ur medical expiry is near
Then they extend the visa for a month
