Salam friends, i got a call today at 11.30 AM from this number 0511236. wen i click the button it got off. what do u think is it CHC number or any other country number? plz let me know bcz i m really worry about it

You should visit him not matter what. It will also strengthen your case when it comes to gathering proofs and communication history.

ive been married for almost 1.5 years now and i have visited my wife 3 times so far and yes it helped my case alot.

You applied in April 2012 which is only 8 months. They will touch your file after 11 - 12 months so no rush. Chill out and relax.

A.A. I just need some advice from you. Here's my Timeline:

Oct 2008 Became PR
Jan 2011 Left for Pakistan and got Married
Mar 18 returned Canada
Apr 2011 Initially applied to CPC-Missisauga
May 2011 File transfered to ISD
Nov 2011 Left for Pakistan for giving my MBA final exams and visiting my wife.
Mar 2012 recieved call from Visa Officer on Wife's No. while I was on a visit to Pakistan requesting Police Clearance etc.
Apr 2012 provided VO @ ISD with Police Cert., updated forms, proof of my redience and my PP's Copies etc as requested by him.
May 10th 2012 returned to canada
May 2012 Decision made appeared on website and got excited, but it was start of a nightmare only
Jun 2012 Got refusal letter stating 'Since I believe Sponsor does not reside in Canada and he did not do so when he filed the application till the day decision is made. Specifically from Nov 2011 till present i.e. 20 May 2012'
Jul 2012 filed an appeal
Nov 2012 Won Appeal

Now the concern is Since August 2011 The ECAS has been 'In Process' till May 2012 when it changed to 'Decision Made'.and i Got Refusal Letter, and remained same throughout appeal process.
Now just a week b4 i received IAD's letter about my BIG WIN it again changed into 'In Process' again till 22nd Dec, 2012. From then onwards it is saying 'Decision Made' again.
Please guide me what are chances of a Positive decision by VO in this case and how much are the chances of Falling again into xxxxxx Judicial Review thingy by the VO. Because My wife's medical expired on Mar 2012. No medical, PCC or PPR requests have been made yet. I dont think I am lucky enough to get my wife here without re-medical etc. Neither they have requested her PP.

What i need to ask is that till when is the visa validity after issuance??? my passport is valid till 5 years so no expiry issue there... but is it true that i have to land before my re medical expires?? my re medical expiry date is april 30th so i have to land in canada in any case before that right? i need an answer to that asap please.

I m really sorry to hear about your case you have been through really tough times but I pray that inshaAllah everything gets resolved for you real quick.....may Allah help you
As far I think if you win an appeal there is rarely a chance that u will lose the case InshaAllah you will defiantly get visa now but your wife will probably do another medical.... But anyways good luck to you and your wife I will defiantly keep you in my prayers

Just to double check;

The passport is to be sent to the Immigration Section, canadian high commission, right?

And with passport we have to send two photographs, yeah?

I was not asked to fill the PHEP form. Is there anyone else too who did not get the PHEP request?

Salam All,

Alhamdullilah my husband just called me at 4AM and gave me the biggest news of the YEAR...He got the passport back with his VISA MashAllah. We were so worried about the passport return date but in fact his passport came back after 9 weekdays.

Thanks to the Allah Almighty for letting me hear such a great news. May all of you hear such news ASAP, Illahi Ameen.
I will be joining my husband in January 2013 and we will be returning back to Canada together InshAllah

Hey can anyone tell me that after how much time usually you get your passport after ppr?

And also does CHC send all the original documents that were sent with the application such as nikah nama, birth certifictes?

any help will be appreciated.
