Congratulation yes insha allah for sure u will get ur passport back with visa before ur passport expires n u will have to land in canada before passport expires.

Yes i got approval as a sponsor in the month of October. Now recently i called call centre the agent told me my file is in Ottawa. Though the approval letter states that my file has been forwarded to Islamabad. Now i will contact the call centre again in month of January before sending the notorized photo copy of my baby's birth certificate n with that i'll am planing to send voluntarily all call history, emails, skype history, dhl reciepts of gift which my husband send me later n our baby's clothes with pictures after the time i have filed the sponsorship

yea in that case you would not be able to as you don't have a file number for the applicant.

WVR = interview waived...not sure why its under name field...? maybe someone else can confirm..

check under Assessments. Those are all the checks that they have to do. Also if you scroll near the end you'll find some notes that the officers enter about your case that may also help.

Yes there also 2 notes on the end. first written on the time of preliminary assessment and issuance AOR in June "VO" put file in interview Q.

But after we submit more photos, from my (2nd visit after marriage) communication and money Trf proofs. therefore in 2nd note written in September by the same VO he thoght marriage and spousal relationship to be genuine and file forward for next course of actions.

You should order GCMS. This is the only way to find out what's going on your file.

I got my notes check my recent last couple of posts you will know.

Your husband should order the GCMS notes as soon as he can. CIC did the samething with us we didn't get any letter since the file had been transferred in June, 2011. Then I ordered GCMS notes in July 2012 (14th month since the file transfered to ISB)and my hubby got the letter from CIC end of August 2012



thanks for the reply ,yes my husband has ordered the notes ,the thing which is upsetting me most is that my passport is getting expired in july 2013 ,i m wondering what if they ll ask for the passport just few days or weeks earlier than the expiration date ??as i have heard there should be atleast 6 months validity left before entering canada ,cant renew my passport now coz it has 6 months left ,if only 1 month left then they renew it ???

angelheart its better to update ur passport then to wait for that time, becuze then it will take CHC about another 5-6 months to wait for ur new passport and to give visa, and as ur timeline says u got AOR in July 2012 then u should definitly get an updated passport to u can get remed and ppr... ma husbands passport was expiring in September 2012 and i had him update it in July and send it in with additional documents they asked for and Alhamdulillah he got remed in November.


Its better to be safe then sorry and that will acutalli help u more....

Angelheart I have no experience regarding pakistani passport. However, I find that R.Mujgani has given an excellant answer below R.Mujgani maybe Angelheart wants to know how the process goes in detail for updating the passport right now while her passport is still valid for 6 months lolz From her replies i feel that's what she is trying to find out:
