abi say khuch nahi kaha ja sakta , kyounk sahe pata tab he lagta hai jab file 1st review k laye open hoti hai .
kyounk jab tak aap ko koi letter nhi milta from chc-isb ke terf say tab tak aap khuch b nhi keh sakty.(( k kitna time lagay ga OR kab tak complete ho ga )).

June 2010 - Applied for Sponsorship
September 2010 - CHC-I received the file
August 2011 - Objection letter from CHC-I along with request for additional documents and 4 forms that needed to be refilled and rePCC
September 2011 - Rukhsati done and all the documents submitted to CHC-I
October 13, 2011 - Remed and PPR together
October 13, 2011 - Remed
November 3, 2011 - Passport back with visa

In total he waited (14 months) after file reached Islamabad...if we take into account the application as well...then for him it was a total of (16 months) wait...but he was lucky that his wife got the visa right away after rukhsati...it doesn't usually happen....there was a member one2ka4....and he had rukhsati done in july....his wife got visa in october or something.....his process was 22 months in total but again "nikkah only" case...and then they put his file to 1 side b/c due to exams he couldn't have rukhsati done within that time period they gave...but then...at the end rukhsati was done...at his time of convinience...CHC-I also took their time issuing visa...

khair don't worry...everything will be fine....mine is also a simple case...the only thing in my case is that my wife went out of pakistan for honeymoon...but if its just for a week or so...CHC-I doesn't really investigate that much into it...

btw...when was ur file transferred to CHC-I?

EID MUBARAK TO ALL MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS

People with their medical expiring soon (i.e. in a month or two) and hasn't heard a single thing from CHC-I, are you going to wait for them to request the second medical OR are you planning to have it done as your first medical expires and send it to CHC-I voluntarily?

My wife's medical is expiring next month...we can't get the remed done voluntarily b/c its a special type of letter they send for Remed which goes from doctors office directly to CHC-I. Please look at Anso's slides and you will see exactly how the Remed letter looks like. However you still have to fill out that form that you filled out for the first medical. The Appendix C. If you get it done voluntarily then you just have to have 2 pictures with negatives and Appendix C. Then the reports go from New Delhi to CHC-I. Then CHC-I sends you a Remed letter. Things get really confusing and it sometimes prolongs your process b/c it seems to CHC-I that you didn't submit your remed.

You are given 90 days to get medical done. 45 days to submit additional documents, 4 forms and rePCC.

4 Forms:

1.) Application for PR (IMM8)
2.) Schedule 1 (Backgroud/Declaration) (Where you put all your education and work history)
3.) Additional Family Information [IMM 5406] (Where the sponsored person gives info about themselves, their parents, siblings, spouse and children if applicable)
4.) Supplementary Information form for Pakistan national (If the sponsored person has traveled or has any political history or any military history, usually all N/A's)

WOW, thank you so much for all the details. I have one more question for you, my wife and i travelled to Thailand and Malaysia for our honeymoon/vacation for almost 2 months. Do you think it will cause any delays in background check? I am planning to send them our trips itinerary, hotel reservation details, both of our passport copies and among other documents to prove why we had taken that trip. what do you think?

It shouldn't be a problem b/c I also went to Turkey with my wife for a week. If your wife stays in another country for more than 6 months then there is police record created for that person. In that case CHC-I requires Police Clearance Certificate from that country. This takes a long time and further background checks are done.

We can say that this happens to a lot of Pakistanis who apply through Abu Dhabi visa office. They have lived in various Middle Eastern countries for a few years and then require a PCC from each one since the age of 18 plus from Pakistan as well if they have lived there for more then 6 months at anytime. Even if they are applying through CHC-I and they have lived in middle east previously more than 6 months...there is a lot of background checks.

This is Eid-ul-Adha...the significance of this eid is that Prophet Ibrahim (PBUH) was sacrificing his own son in the name of Allah b/c of his faith in Allah. This is the imaan that Prophet Ibrahim (PBUH) had. At that time Allah replaced Prophet Ismail (PBUH) with a goat/sheep/lamb. This was a miracle of Allah (swt) the beneficent the merciful. Just for Prophet Ibrahim's (PBUH) imaan in Allah.

This eid, lets pray to Allah and give the waseela of Prophet Ibrahim (PBUH) to make our imaan stronger and also pray to allah that all the people whether it be on this forum, another thread of this forum or not on this forum. Ya Allah aap ko Hazrat Ibrahim (as) keh mojeza ka wasta aap inn sab ka PPR aajai...jinka aah chuka hai...unka visa jald seh jald aah jai...

Prophet Ismail (PBUH) then had a lineage from which Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) was born aur hamara pak mazhab Islam paida hua...

This eid lets also pray for ppl who have already got the visa...Ya Allah aap ko wasta hai Hazrat Ismail (as) ka...jinko visa mil chuka hai...unko khushia ata karna...Canada meh unn couples ko aulad-e-saleh ata karna jo maa baap ka naam roshan karay...aur islam keh foundations peh qayam rahay...give them all the happiness in the world...

A special dua for sahibzada_2010 on this eid for his wife's quick initial review...b/c i can see in his post he loves his wife a lot...i know i have hut him and he has hurt me...all aside...i wish well for him...

Dear All,

Wishing everybody Eid Mubarak!

I am in process of putting together the documents for sponsoring my wife. I was wondering, how did you guys put together your application packet? I understand ring binders etc are not allowed, so what i'm thinking of doing is taking a plastic file holder with transparent inserts for putting in different documents and labeling them. Is that how you guys did it when you applied? Look forward to understanding the neatest and most standard approach.
