It all depends on your immigration officer and the review date. Usually they have a review date 45-60 days after your request letter date. So lets say if your Re-medical and PPR request letter was dated SEPT 25, 2012, then they will review the file anytime from Nov 10 - 25th. Once they review the file, they will stamp the Visa and send your passport back to you in a week along with Confirmation of Permanent residence letter and your education docs/ proofs etc. You will have to pay cash to TCS delivery guy for delivery. The charge might be around 250 ruppees... not sure as it varies from city to city.

does anyone knows wat CHC prefers wen sends mail/letter ....TCS or by Normal Post?????
if through TCS which one they prefer ...any specific one????

If it is both medical and passport request then they send it through Pakistan post and if it is only PPR then TCS and if it is supplementry forms or for asking PCC or addition documents again through pakistan post...and if u want to send them ur Passport or some more info then send it through TCS

SO CIC is closed for 3 or 4 days.. i hope after EID they will send PPR to all of us waiting since remedical... Remedical to the ppl who are wiating since last year...
Do they send PPRs at the end of the year or they just wait for new year guys?

I think they're yet to send out the last few ppRs. but it depends on the quota allocated to pakistan. If that has expired then may be we'll have to wait till the next year.

I also ordered my notes a couple weeks ago and had the same result. Nothing really started. You mentioned "wvr" what section are you refering to? I don't think my notes mention anything about a waiver....

also what does rePCC stand for?

WVR is the group name. It is mentioned on the first page of the notes under the category 'group name'.

PCC is police character certificate.

email is from Mississuaga.. so it mean its transfered to isl or it may have any chances of going to ottawa

If it says that your file is transferred to Islamabad, then it must be transferred to Islamabad.

I dont understand are the people in CHC Afghans/Pakistanis or Canadians?
cuz if they are Canadian y the heck do they need time off for Eid? and if they are Muslims y the heck do they need time off for Christmas?

this is weird n stupid.... if they dont celebrate either of the holidays then y are they taking time off from work, they should be working on our cases jus like how we cant celebrate any of the Holidays with our spouse y the heck they get time for their family?

My ecase status is changed to ur Medical results ve been received I did my medical on 9th oct and sent pp on the same day how long I ve to wait now?

u have to wait about 3 weeks inshallah u will get ur passport back with the visa

may be bcoz some ppl are muslims and some are canadians and they work together so they need time off during both occasions...
leave it on Allah and HE will simplify it for us.... i have left it on Allah as HE is the one who resolves all problem and InshaAllah i wont complain again InshaAllah!

same here i have completely left it for Allah swt, and my faith n trust is in Allah swt.
