BREAKING NEWS !!! It is 5:40 am morning here in Canada, my wife just called me and told me that she has received RE-MED letter with 30 days limit - Mash-A-Allah .

Now, if you all remember my wife received letter 1 week ago that marriage not genuine and re-fill immi forms + PCC.

Unexpectedly this re-med seems to be a great news !! can you guys please share your thoughts on this update, do you think its a positive news or its just part of procedure with little or no impact on processing time ?

Thanks

OK for change of contact number or address you must write a letter with a signature to chc islambad.
Note they do not accept email so sent it by tcs of fax, and send orignal one not photocopy and adress logic when it disappeard many ppl recievd a letter from chc isb but might be its not true some ppl says
thanx but the prb is that i already sent them letterfor change in address but i forget to write abt contact number. and they change my address

I sent my PCC voluntarily during 10th month end. they contacted me for the first time after 12 months had passed ie: at the start of my 13th for IMM and supp forms. Same month end, I got my re med and then almost 4 weeks later, my PPR mashallah!! so they DO speed up at times, when in mood and ACTUALLY working!!

hain? yeh kahan say a gayi baat? I do remember writing a really detailed explanation here, regarding the whole new-passport making process and how one should try not to fall for the trap and end up paying extra!
anyhow, I had gotten my NEW passport on 30th aug, and submitted it right before eid. CHC rcvd it aug 31st, eid holidays and I got it back yesterday on 14th.
so, approx 10 working days for isssuance of my visa mashallah!!

It depends on the airline you take. The weight and dimension varies based on the airline.

If i remember correctly its 62' inches for PIA i.e. (L+W+H = 62 inches). Could someone confirm it please?

Well you gotta unterstand that 80% of the cases take on average about 24 months the other 20% are earlier so you fell into that 20% category which was lucky for you!

Outside liner dimension should not exceed 62" ( 25 X15 X 22), 62 Inches and 1 baggage cannot exceed more than 28 KG in case of PIA (remember this maximum or you will be asked at airport to remove extra weight).

Generally, bags or suitcases with any size are allowed, but these dimensions are more considered in case if you are booking a Carton and it could be relaxed to 1-2 inches as net.

80% Vs. 20%
I think 80% cases include all those cases which are finalized with in 24 months. So, any case that takes less than 24 months (could be 13-15 or 16-20) falls in this 80%. Rest of 20% are even more delayed by 24 Months. Those might be delayed because they don't provide required documents and fall into another query from Canadian High Commission or are waiting for their interview after formally getting married (Rukhsati and Walima) or other complex circumstance.

I don't know if you looked at the old CIC website but on there they had a table that went like:

20%Cases 50%Cases 70%Cases 80%Cases
9Months 12Months 14Months 16Months

I am basing my theory on that information that was provided last year. And after they changed their timelines to just one standard timeline of that has 80% cases completed.

Anyone who mailed to CHC-I recently, did they recieve automated reply of email recieved . . . . . ?
I sent an email last night, but it's the first time, I did not get automated response that my email is recieved? I am wondering that did they get my email or not . . . . . . . ?

This is not new, I have emailed them many times and half the time I received auto reply and half the times I didn't. However, the times I didn't receive the auto reply, they have replied me and sometimes when I received the auto reply but no response from them. So either you get an auto reply or not; they receive your email if you have sent it to the correct email address after that its up to them to reply to it or not.
