My file is in queue for the decision making officer, I hope I hear some good news during Ramadan!

Please pray for me as I had a letter of objection for marriage not genuine with this...


I pray to Allah that all the genuine marriage people waiting gets their VISA stamped and the time frame to sponsor drops below 12 months!

We start Ramadan on Monday, prayers will be more powerful during this time....

P.S. First day of fasting is over 16 hours in Ontario....from 4:33 AM to 855 PM, get ready for it

Yep InshAllah everything will work out for you and all of us. My wife is also a March AOR, we didn't have any objections and its still in process so we need your prayers too.

In Alberta its just over 17.5hrs....starting at 3:50AM to 9:30PM

Here is a faster way to order CAIPS Notes that I discovered after I called CAIPS main line:

1- Go to http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/completed.asp

2- Download and FILL in the following 3 forms:
1-Access to Information and Personal Information Request Form (IMM 5563) NOTES:check Email box for the form you want to receive the CAIPS in.
2-Authority to Release Personal Information to a Designated Individual Form (IMM 5475)
3-Credit Card Payment Form (IMM 5667)

3- Scan the forms and send them to the email address ATIP-AIPRP@cic.gc.ca with Title CAIPS Request.

This way you can avoid the Mailing to and from Ottawa delays and receive them by email.

yeah it could just be a coincedence for some of us, who knows?

I got my address changed to my inlaws address in january 2011....now that the address has reappeared, its back to the old address (my parents)
what is that supposed to mean? just a glitch? or did they take the old address from my file and completely ignored the new address letter which they acted upon 6 months ago?

This should make it a little bit faster for future requests. I just called to see the current status of my CAIPS and found out that they had put a hold on my request becaue the consent I sent was an year old. She said the person working on my request didn't realise that I was still the representative of my wife's application and sent me a letter to provide an updated consent letter. What a waste of time! Anyways good thing I called she took off the hold from the request and said the Notes will be emailed as soon as they are processed...

I also got the very same reply today, I am oct 2010 AOR.

from just wat i've seen on this forum, applicants from march-aug 2010 AOR have been getting PPR/VISA. Hang in there. Your next!

Alhamdulillah, today we received passports back with visas stamped. We sent passports on 10th of July that returned on 28th. My timeline is as follows:

Sent document to CPC Mississauga: May 2010
Approval from CPC Mississauga: June 2010
Re-Medical: June 2011
Passport request and visa issuance: July 2011

Yes you should scan them and go to specific email inquiry it has upload option then upload them and send it

Or Fax is an other option where they phisically will have to pick them up and put it in your file as you know sometimes they tend to ignore emails...
