It feels like they are still not very excited about the proof you have sent to them so far because it takes them about 4-6 weeks to open your mail (unless it is the situation where they have not reviewed your sent proof so far), as stated in their email, keep loading them with as much proof as possible I would say on Monthly basis and they may end up waiving off interview as it has happened to few members.

Your application is currently in process and that there are certain issues that cannot be addressed or assessed without an in-person interview. Unfortunately, at this point in time, it is not possible to give a timeframe for the interview.

If you have any updated documents such as photographs and other proof of the sponsor's visits since the wedding, proof of contact including telephone bills, emails and letters, proof of financial support and any other proof of an on-going relationship, you are welcome to submit these to us. Such documents would help us in assessing your application.

We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.

any senior member can help me plzzzzzz specially wes bhai help me plz

I had received the same message, I just sent in as much proof as i could... and the interview was waived.. there are many members on this forum who received a message however interview was waived... It varies though case by case inshallah everything will work out

I need a little guidance and anyone who has faced a similar situation/ or has any suggestions is most welcome to add their comments.
We got our first letter (dated july 9' 2011) asking for re-filled supplement and other forms, along with my husband's passport copy. That makes my Brought Forward date approx 23rd aug. I am planning to travel to the US in Aug/ around eid time but I'm hesitant because my re-med might come during that time frame. Secondly, I've also heard and read of cases where they request the re-med within 20 or so days of submission of documents, which would be great for us, but I'm thinking of the worst-case scenario right now. Now, my main concern is that assuming I go to the US in aug; and my re-med request comes in the mean time, will I be able to get my re-med done from anywhere (ie: US) as long as I take the re-med form with me (which my father-in-law will send me via courier to the US) or will I have to come back to pakistan, get my med done and THEN wait (in Pak) for god knows how long before they ask me for my passport/ visa issuance? Anyone? Thanks in advance.
I have been trying to find an answer to your questions, as during the whole painful process, I cancelled many of my visits to avoid this knd of a situation where Remed request comes in and I could not submit due to my being out of country. Any ways, I will just go through my Remed letter and confirm you but I think it is possible that you can get it from US and ask them to send it to Delhi. However, there is a CIC guideline that your DMP may mention: "DMPs must forward all immigration medical reports to the regional medical office in their area by mail. Do not send immigration medical reports to the visa office processing the applicant’s file. This will only increase the processing time." Now in some cases, they have agreed on sending it through courier and in some they havent. Let me reconfirm you as soon as there is something more concrete that I come across.

OKKK i found the solution to my problem...

i called the CSIS now and talked to the person there...he said that ALL the cases come to ottawa first for the security check...and the time frame depends on how many countires the person travelled and the OROGIN of the country....

so i asked him if he can tell me where my file is now as i am nov 2009 AOR and its been so long...
he said u have to fax and ask for status enquiry....he cant help me on that

so ye baat to solve hoye that there r not specific cases that go to ottawa for background n security checks :) i am happy on that...

Have you sent them, updated emails, call logs, proof of her visit and loads of pictures? Sending these documents on regularly basis ie. every month is the only way possible to waive an interview. This is not a gaurantee either but a hope that they will waive it if you provide enough evidence to convince them. Good Luck!

FLYFISH, where in Montreal are you? Me and HumaUmair are sponsers from Montreal too.
