I thought you hadn't done the medicals to begin with and didn't send it with your initial application??? I was referering to that post and said to do your initial medicals, rePCC and IMM forms all at the same time at about 8 Months in. That should save you quite a bit of time...

Ya thats what i was trying to ask to. U thought right. havent sent initial med for this reason to save the time of waiting for request. but i cant voluntarily get med done without request right cuz it cant get attached to my file directly ? ???

You both can send the supporting documents at any time as long as you include a cover letter mentioning the full details of both ie Full Name, DOBs, Address, PH# and most importantly the IMMIGRATION FILE #

great thanks ! :) .... IMM file #.....i'm so tensed abt that! i want them to respond already lol

You always do the initial medical voluntarily! When you file your initial application for the first time, there is a request for medical form included in the package. Fill that out and take it to the doctor. It includes questions like file#(normally people leave that blank since they havn't applied, in your case you would have that by that time and can include that as well), it also asks where your case is going to be processing, you want to write Islamabad Pakistan in there and based on your DOB first and last name they will attach it to your file. This way you have very little chance of getting the remedical request. And yes you are right, you need the old expired certificate and the request letter from the embassy to take it to the doctor when going for RE-MEDICAL. HOpe this clears some things for you.

You didn't get your initial medical done ?? If thats the case you can have it done anytime and send the receipt to the embassy.

:D based on xperience. how much time do u think this is gonna "hopefully" (if everythings goes well INSHALLAH) save me?

Just a quick shout out to everyone....those waiting for PPR, has anyone contacted CHC-islamabad to inquire about update since re-med and when should they be expecting PPR? I did a few times, but they don't respond on that. My MP's office has also tried to get an update from them, and even they haven't received a response ( which I think is odd). Is CHC doing the same to everyone?...if yes, it could be a policy thing.

Looking forward to responses.

For now, I would suggest you just try to get the file number. Then send the following after about 8 Months into your process so end of October 2011:

1) Medicals
2) rePCC
3) IMM0008(Application for Permanent Residence), Schedule 1 (Background/Declaration), IMM5406(Additional Family Information), and the supplementary form (http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/pakistan/assets/pdfs/PakistaniNationals-Form-en.pdf)
4) Supporting documents such as emails, phone call logs etc...

If they have a valid PCC & medical along with recent proof of contact when they open your file for initial review, it can save you a minimum of 3 months time. All you would need to do is to fill out the supp forms and wait for your background check to be over.

+1 !
Thanks so much! we have to resend application for permanent residency? isnt that already approved and transferred to ISB?

WES Bhai, the CAIPS I ordered in April did not show much only the PSEC 1 (paper screening) my file was in Background Checks in May/June 2011 and per the email I got from CHC ISB in July 2011 our background checks are over. I got my 2nd CAIPS today and nothing changed in these notes. Only one thing, BFD MAY 2011. There is no reason why we are in the Interview Queue or if the Interview is waived. My MP told me in APRIL 2011 that we are in the Interview Queue, we got no letter from ISB stating that!! I am going CRAZY!!
Everything I have been told so far doesnt seem true, they way they are processing my case is not under normal guidelines or order.
I am a APRIL 2010 AOR, our Medical has been expired since DECEMBER 2010 .... Kya keroon??????????? HELP :(

Yes you do! That process was sponsorship approval( Application to sponsor) filled by your sponsor.
