Good afternoon all,

My husband is now also waiting for ppr. Remedical was done in July, last week.

I e-mailed them for updates last Thursday and thought they'd reply Monday morning. So far nothing yet.

Its going alright bro, you tell me?

Alhumdulillah man ... I am trying not to think about the process too much cuz it really gets stressful at times thinking about different scenarios. In the end whatever Allah has written for us would happen, the most we can do is try hard and make lots of dua :)

As they say bro, "duas can even change qismat" so thats all we can do. I have been in this process for 18 months now and know exactly what you are going through. Stay strong and hang in there man you will get through this...

Okkk! so i pulled out my PCC which was submitted with my application, i had a doubt and thats what made me RECHECK and i was right. My Pcc is issued on jan 28.11! and my file was TRANSFERRED in march 25! it expires in 3days what do i do? shud i resend voluntarily? I'm only 4months down the road. I also hv emailed once again (in working hours) for file number! how am i even suppose to send/correspond without my file number? didnt send medical since the re-medical request comes and only wastes time. KIA KAROON PPL! am i suppose to resend pcc along with medical now to save time so wen they do open up my file my medical has time as well and nothing is missing or expired! confused!!

Dont worry due to certain reasons when I filled my application, my PCC had already expired. So in any ways, my file remained in the quarantine for 9 months. The first time they opened my file was exactly nine months later and the first thing they asked me was to submit RePCC. Along with it I was supposed to resend the Supplementary Information Form and was also required to submit proof of relationship continuity. I would therefore recommend you to submit your PCC voluntarily after seven or eight months. It would also help you to see the trend over here in this forum about the current prevalent times after which they are opening the files in isb for the first time.

+1, Thanks. What do u think about medical. Should i send that too wen i send PCC? since i'll be 7/8months down the road anyway. I actually dont want any time wasted with having to wait for thr request such as for supporting proof of relationship, pcc xpiring, medicals xpiring

They don't accept Voluntary medical, infact the doctor won't do your re-medical without the remedical request letter. You can definitely minimize your time with PCC & supporting documents but you will have to wait for Supp forms, Re-medical request and PPR (these you can't send voluntarily)

Thanks for the +1, my first plus rating ;D

I won't advise you on sending the re-medical, as they send a letter specifically for it. Also remedical is not something that can be attached to your file directly. For that they have to contact New Delhi. Hence send all supporting proofs, RePCC after 7-8 months but wait for Remed call from embassy
