Hey everyone, So yah, I'm suppose to email CIC (again) mondaaty morning. to get my file number which i still didnt get. Now wen i do get that shud i send some pictures or any other doc voluntarily? If med wasnt done and submitted with application when process took place does that make any impact? cud u send it voluntarily?

your file is sent to your spouse... when your spouse receive a confirmation letter from CHC.....wh

Hi there,

I am planning to submit the spouse sponsorship application by end of this month, all the dox are ready and my wife did her medical (Dr.Wakil) two weeks back. Now the problem is that she sent the papers to me through courier and the medical receipt and confirmation is lost in between. I have copy of medical confirmation but the original is lost what should i do ?

Will CIC accept the copy of medical confirmation or my wife have to do her medicals again?

I was thinking after reading some of the posts on this forum regarding the background checks.
My husband (the applicant) works for NATO/ISAF as a translator for the German Army. Do you think his background/security checks would take longer? To work for this company, you need the highest security clearances though. hmm...
He also lived in pakistan for 10 years - does that mean he will be asked to obtain a PCC from there too? He was born and is currently living back in Afghanistan and sent his current PCC from afghanistan.
Oh boy, I think this is going to be a long case

Hey the background checks vary from case to case. Have you done any spadework to find out any similar case ?
