I believe it is both...some got it through TCS and others got it thru regular mail...

Hi guys,

Could the people who have already received ppr requests, help answer this question.

How did the ppr request come - through normal mail, registered mail or courier (tcs,etc) ?

I have sponsored my wife (app started March 2010 and she recently submitted her remedical). But she and her family are leaving for a month long vacation and there wont be anyone to receive mail at her house during that period. If we knew how CIC sends PPR requests, we can go ahead and talk with the mailman or the tcs delivery team incharge to look out for mails for us.

Pls let me know how you folks got your ppr request (whether it was normal mail, registered mail or courier)

They usually send Via TCS, but in some cases via ordinary mail.

Seeing their pattern, I assume that some more PPRs are on the way, Remember last month, they sent a bunch of PPR at the end of the month. Best wishes for All.

Hi: I am new to this forrum. I had a request from embassy on Feb 2011 for updated forms, re-PCC and Medicals, which I sent on April 4. I am waiting for the PPR right now. My passport is going to expire in April 4, 2012. I have heard that passport should be valid for at least 12 months for the Visa to be stamped on it, Is that true. Should I go for the renewal of my passpost before I get the PPR as they are really taking a hell of time to renew it here in Pak. My time line is

Applied in december 2009
AOR Feb 20, 2010

Thats great news! Congrats...So it's confirmed they do send them in batches...

I think he applied in Dec 2009 and got his AOR in JAN 2010.
