I AM EMAILING ISB ON CASE SPECIFIC ENQUIRY BUT IM NOT GETTING A RESPONSE ... IM EXTREMELY WORRIED. LAST EMAIL I RECEIVED STATES THAT MY FILE IN QUEUE TO BE REVIEWED BY IMMI OFFICER IN FEB 2011.. NOW ITS JUNE I DID NOT HEAR FROM CIC ISB. THEY ARE NOT EVEN SENDING A REPLY THAT THEY RECIVED MY EMAIL WHICH IS THERE STANDARD PROCEDURE...

PLZ GIVE A NICE ADVICE IS IT HAPPENING WITH ANYONE OUT THERE??

Did you receive anything besides "Acknowledgment of Receipt" (AOR) that is usually received after the file is transfered to Islamabad? rePCC, IMM forms? re-Medical? anything?

Haan alot of people from first quarter or 2010 are starting to revceive PPRs lekin not everybody I am still waiting for my wife's PPR

Hi Simba, that auto acknowledgment response is not necessarily to receive every time someone sends email. What is your AOR date because if the AOR is less than 9 months timeline than you may or may not hear anything at all. I suggest send another concise email. Which address are you using by the way?

AFTER THE AOR I SENT THEM PICS OF OUR TRIP TO DUBAI ... AND PHONE BILLS ETC. THEN IN FEB 2011 THEY SENT ME A LETTER SAYING THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE NIKKAH NAMA DOCUMENT.MY HUBBY FLEW FROM CANADA WENT TO CIC ISB WITH ME EXLAINED THEM EVERYTHING AND THAN AFTER A WEEK WE EMAILED THEM ABT CASE STATUS THEY REPLIED FILE IN QUEUE FOR REVEIW BY IMMI OFFICER. AND NOW THEY ARE NOT RESPONDING TO MY EMAILS...... ANYHOW THANKS FOR THE SUGGESTION ILL EMAIL FROM HUBBY S EMAIL....

Background check starts shortly after the application was logged in and is conducted parallel to application consideration. There is no set timeframe for background check. Its duration can be affected by such factors as military service, foreign trips, and membership in political organizations. It takes as much time as it requires.

As Wes mentioned above I suggest send another email from your husband (Sponsor's) email.

The auto ackowledgment response is system generated and therefore doesnt matter who is sending the email. The best time to email is 8 am in Pakistan, Mon-Friday, when they start working. You will get the acknowledgment. Double check if you are sending them all the information of the applicant.

Most of the people from Jan to April 2010 AORs have received request for updated rePCC and IMM forms. Some have received reMedical, and some have even received PPRs already. However, that is if the case is straight forward and simple. If there is alot of travel history, education history, military services, and/or government jobs as one 2 ka 4 has mentioned above, it does make a case complicated and takes longer for background checks. I suggest you try again with your husband's email as he was asking for case status inquiry and see if you get a reply from them and yes as UOC suggested, email them when its morning is Pakistan, I normally get a reply within half an hour. in the ppr letter form ques 1 where i have to fill in the info regarding applicant and spouse so do I need to fill in spouse column too or should i just fill mine (applicant column) or both?

When should wife expect to recieve PPR? 1 month since re-medical.

It all depends on luck .. Mostly, its 2 months from the date of medical but Alhumdulillah in my case, I got the PPR exactly 20 days after my re-med. So keep your hopes high and prayers mode on

Today I was woken up by my husband giving me missed calls ( ) and when I called him back he gave me the best news ever! Allhumdulillah by Allah's grace we have received PPR this is the happiest day of my two years of marriage ALLHUMDULILLAH.
