Can you share the name of the photo studio and where it is in Karachi?

Do you have to get the re-med done from the same DMP office you got the 1st time or can it be from a different location?

Most of them ask that you go in personally to get an appointment, because they keep the remedical letter that you have just received. My wife had to go in personally, they don't do it over the phone. As for negatives, they said that most of the studios are now digital and you don't need negatives for medical but my wife found an older photo studio that still do negatives so she is going to take negatives with her. I don't think they have many studios these day that still do the negatives so I doubt that its necessary these days.

2 questions regarding Re-med.

The re-med letter says to bring "negative of passport-size photograph for person to be examined". Is this necessary? Has any member who recently did re-med take this with them?

To make an appointment do you have to go to the DMP office? Is it not possible to get an appointment over the phone?

if you are in Karachi then u can easily get the negatives just go to any reputable photo lab they will give u the negatives along with the photos but make sure ask them first....the still have this service running though we are in digital world... second thing if u r in karachi u can get the appointment on phone only at Karsaz DMP location not from Sadar location and also Karsaz DMP guyz will not ask u the negatives

If you have submitted the requested documents but your case status has not changed this is normal. This does not mean that your documents are lost.

Our office is unable to provide confirmation for each document delivered.

Please understand that due to the heavy volume of mail received at our office we are unable to open and sort mail immediately upon receipt. We suggest that you wait for 3 to 4 weeks before requesting for a case status inquiry after sending mail to our office.

If your parcel tracking details confirm the delivery of your documents at our mail room then rest assured they will be attached to your file accordingly.

My hubby called in and made the appointment on the phone so he didn't have to go in and no he did not take the negatives either.

You didn't ask me but just for help you out from this....
METRO, KONICA SHOP COLOR LAB & PHOTO STUDIO shop No. G-5, Noman Sqaure Near Empress Market, Saddar, Karachi....
i got my pictures from this studio and they charged me Rs,130 for 12 pics..... is say ziyada nahin dena lolzzz
and i got my oppointment at same doc where i examined first time i hope this information would helps you out....
