Hopefully, Allah ka karam hai! will receive my wife passport next week!

It is exactly 13 months today since CIC-Islamabad started processing!

Yes saggit_16 lol. We've packed 5 suitcases (exta suitcase charges are so expensive! lol) and were actually hoping to return back together on May 9th but my husband didn't have his passport. I'm just worried because i'm scheduled to leave Pak May 23 and I don't want to leave my husband behind, its too hard!! and I can't extend my ticket anymore its extended to the max!

Aaa well if u have pinged them frequently then I suggest wait for atleast a week or 2..... InshaAllah u'll PP back very soon.... done with tickets and packing?

guys my husband has an interview in JULY....they called him with his passport...2 months k baad interview so lateee yar...

With due respect, no body asked about your opinion we only made a appeal to join the cause for the community. You can say either I wana join OR I don't wana join and you already told us that your heart and brain are not giving you permission and we said OK & nobody forced you after that! did we?

I got surprised to see your statement because I have seen you coming back and forth on this forum since we started the campaign and you have seen the campaign progress and our little success of convincing members with your own eyes, my point is at the STAGE when few members have already sent the letter out then at that time what was the point to give that kind of discouraging opinion - honestly I didn't get that!!!

Sis, why PAK is behind? Anything in life that you did for Pakistan? Right now we are running one campaign for Pakistani's (who are the integral part of the Pakistan) as a Pakistani community; are you the part of that Campaign? I know you are NOT but I am trying to tell why Pakistan is behind.

I would suggest if you are true Pakistani then on this public forum and on any other public forum at least show some respect while giving statements about Pakistan. Your statement about Pakistan was very discouraging and very disrespectful.

i agree with you one hundred percent brother...there are countess pakistanis who have a deprived & pitiful life in pak and when they get to some western country they say humain tou jannat mil gyi ha...and then they start hating pak...well, no one should defame pak for his own failures that made him (or his parents) immigrate to some western county

its all because of our efforts, prayers and the endless help of forum members..
im so thankfull to u all.
tis waiting game was so hard n painfull.. this time is the horrible one of my life time n i wish everyone who is caught in this painfull game will pass it soon..

My first post here. Thanks to all of you here and from previous forum

I was on the other forum but looks like everyone has migrated here. Thanks for the information Lahorecouple. Assuming that most of the previous forum members are also here, I would thank all of you for all your help and advice. I was able to finally mail my application on Apr-29 and it is a big relief. I am specially gratedful to Lahorecouple, Inshallah, Exeemz, Mahamed17, Hp_invent010, Logari and Calgarian. Your good and prompt answers sure made this easier for me.

It is only 10 days since I mailed the application and from Candapost tracking I found it was delivered on May 2. Am I going to get any acknowledgement from CIC-Mississauga ? Will it show on online status? It was a lot of hard work and I want to be sure that my application package is where it is suppose to be.

Any how good folks of the forum, my best wishes to all of you and I pray each one of you soon get the good news from Islamabad.

Hi: I am new to this forrum. I had a request from embassy on Feb 2011 for updated forms, re-PCC and Medicals, which I sent on April 4. I am waiting for the PPR right now. My passport is going to expire in April 4, 2012. I have heard that passport should be valid for at least 12 months for the Visa to be stamped on it, Is that true. Should I go for the renewal of my passpost before I get the PPR as they are really taking a hell of time to renew it here in Pak. My time line is

Applied in december 2009
AOR Feb 20, 2010
Additional documents, PCC etc July 2010
Sent Aug 2010
Updated IMM8 forms etc, re-PCC and Med Req, Feb 2011
Sent April 4, 2011
PPR... Waiting
