Well two days after the email from CHC saying that my case is in queue for review i received a call in the morning from CHC-I today that they are reviewing my file and require the scan copy of RPRF receipt... which shows that they have now started reviewing my file... Hoping that a decision could be made sooner and i get my passport back with the visa...

my husband is landing in 3.5 hours. inshAllah..i am soooo exciiiiiiiiiteeeeeeeeeeeeedddddd!!! i just feel so lucky and thankfull and blessed that we are over with this, much sooner than most of the people.. Allah mian app sab ko sabar aur jaldi jaldi ppr day

the same call i received on 12 march from embassy after sending my passport but still waiting for my passport on 3rd may my e-case status shows decision made

i need an advice regarding RPRF..
did u guys specially tanhaye and HAF pay the RPRF with the initial application or just the processing fee at tht time and landing fees later....

Weird thing, I tried to login into CIC website to check the status for the file. It wouldn't let me in for some reason. It kept saying some information was not correct even though I checked it carefully and submit and after 3 tries the message came up that the number of tries exceeded. What the hell!!! Does anybody having any issues like that?

hmmm all i need to confirm is that are they asking for the RPRF receipt from everyone who submits the passport or from just the ones who have paid half of the fees later....plz help

Thank you all so much for your replies. I've ordered CAIPS for the second time, previously it was a bit vague in terms of the reason requiring an interview. Hopefully I'll get a clearer picture this time.

As far as the issue of contacting MP's and Ministers in Canada is concerned, we've done that to no avail.

My interview has been in queue for almost a year now, why can't they just let me know a date, is it that difficult to set a day? Also, I haven't received any Re-Pcc or Re-Med requests, what do you guys think about this? You think they'll ask for these when I'll be called in for an interview or before/after that?

Your input in my case is much appreciated.

I am also September 2009 AOR...my husbands file was in queue for interview since June 2010 and until now we had not heard of the date for the interview. However, my husbands interview now got waived ALLHUMDULILLAH because I went to visit him and sent more proof of our relationship. They were doubting it before but since I sent that I ordered CAIPS and found out it was waived. You should get caips and see why they want interview. Also, I dont think they send re-pcc or re-med to people in interview queue because after my husbands interview got waived in caips it said they will request for re-pcc and re-med which we received after they decided to waive the interview.

Anyway I will do dua that Allah ease this time for you

I ordered CAIPS on April 05, 2011 and as of today (May 05, 2011) they haven't even cashed my cheque yet :'(
