CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2009 -2010

I sent them the wedding pictures because the rukhsati was few months later than the nikkah and nikkah was done on the phone.
when they asked my file # because they probably had to put those pictures in that file. I will try to get the file number for next time when I send my doc.

Friends, I have a question and need advise. If someone is living and working abroad but the immigration application is under processing with Islamabad, then what to write in travel history for trips made to Pakistan in "Purpose of Trips" column. The travel history Islamabad needs is for trips made out of Pakistan.

Friends, I have a question and need advise. If someone is living and working abroad but the immigration application is under processing with Islamabad, then what to write in travel history for trips made to Pakistan in "Purpose of Trips" column. The travel history Islamabad needs is for trips made out of Pakistan.

In my opinion say "Vacations" or "Family visit" since after vacations you went back again to resume your job.

I think people working in the embessy have all the holidays which consist of their own country and the country where they are working and on the top of that I guess there is nothing for them to worry about for extra holidays whenever there is no one to watch them, all higher authorities to embassy are in Canada, you must have heard of the saying "when the cat is away the mouse is there to play" On the other end we are the one we keep waiting for their response while they enjoy their life with hardly working (not hard working) this is the beauty of having Government job and it goes for every where in the world and especially in pak.

Clean Bold. I am gald you have reliazed the process in just 2 months not after 12 months. There wasnt any mission audit done since 2006, however; I had an email last year from Chachu office saying that "There is a weekly report submission to head office from CHC". Not sure at what extend this information is correct.

You are new here so may be thinking about term "Chachu" used above. Term Chachu ka matlib hy Jason Kenney.

LOL, we all get mad at them and then we accept it as part of reality and not all the Govt workers in Canada are lucky some have to work very hard, it depends where you work in Govt...........

Thought I provide my update. Sponsor has received the letter and it took 20 business days to arrive domestically. They are now asking to re-submit police certificate (not medical at this point). Is this normal? I believe they both expire after one year. Whats the reason behind asking for one and not the other? Anyone else had this request?
