I think the change of file number is just some procedural change and it will not affect case processing. Also if it is mentioned that the medical is received then its a good thing..........So there is no need to worry at all

Well, you have to understand, that the file opens atleast after 10 - 12 months of AOR received. The process it self is not long its just that they delay in opening the file for initial review.

my ecas is the same...yes it make sense that the medical is received. Ur medical is not expired yet, whenever they receive the medical they are automatically attached to your file

listen islambad strt wrk on my file on july and my mdcl will also expire in march.........but on ecase it doesnt shw anythng abt mdcl?what does it mean?and tell me that mdcl status where v can see ? :'(

Hello guys no need to freak out well cic show ecas status when they first forward the file to islamabad whatever it shows it never get updated in my husband's case he was with me in canada we got married incanada so he did everything when they showed in ecas his pr status it is saying we started processing ur application ******** medical results received even after his medical got expired and he did his remedical and PCC still it is showing same nothing changed in the application and it'll never change some people they got their PR and still ecas showing same like before nothing changed so don't worry abt it as long they have no objection in ur file u should just wait and pray that the process will finish soon to all of us.

16 months over since AOR...going to 17 month in February

Just recently my husband received the same forms to be filled out again, we filled them correctly this time (realizing the mistake now), hopefully, maybe that is one of the reasons for the delay of our case lol.

I just realized on the previous forms, when I first submitted them, I forgot to write in Urdu the details that were asked such as name.

NO for my wife it just shows the we started processing your appllication on blah blahh date..thats it, nothing about medicals. But on the caips it showed that the meds were received and assessed and were fine, but only good until Jan 2011. They just expired and waiting for the rerequest now

hi wes786: my cousin's AOR is from march2010 too her medical expired in novembr but she didnt get a re-medical request yet..her e-mail reply from last week says..in que for initial review.. sad han takes them this much time for initial review
