thank u guys. I appreciate your help very much. I feel like kicking myself.

Also, do u think I should send other documents that show that i have been here? for example i passed my G2. should Isend them that too?
thanks
i dnt think tht thr is any need of it..
i think if u send them ur tickets, boarding passes, exit stamp frm pakistan airport and entry stamp at canadian airport whr u'v landed would b enough...
and i would say tht u must send them ur exit stamp frm pak..coz whn my hubby left, i received a call frm embassy and was askd to send copies of his exit and entry stamps..

Oh thank you guys so much!! I appreciate it. i am getting on this right now. please remember us in our prayer.

CanPak. Thx for sharing the info. Have you done the Rukhsati?

The reason I am asking because I have provided all the above mentioned documents plus many more but still relation is not considered genuine and file is in interview now.

No Rukhsati yet, trying to make plans to go to Pakistan but getting time off work is difficult. My work is very short staffed due to state of economy and cut backs in administration staff that there is no back up to perform the administrative duties I am responsibile for. Im working with my manager to arrange coverage so i can go see my wife with some family, and while there complete Rukhsati. I just dont know how long that will take and am hopefull immigration officer will review all documents provided before just assuming relation is not genuine.

I heard if you go for Rukhsati then do contact the embassy and let them know you are in pakistan for the Rukhsati and you would like to take your
wife with you to Canada and they might agree to give her the visa. I know someone who did that and the embassy gave the visa and the lady came to canada with her husband. There is no harm trying as long as all your paperwork is done. Your wife's police report and the medical is done then there shouldn't be a problem. What is your timeline by the way ?

CanPak. Buddy without Rukhsati marriage is not considered genuine regardless how solid proof they have on the file. I am inthe same situation.

Saroo, my timeline is in my signature...

One2KA4, I know its unavoidable but I am doing all I can less quiting my job. In the end, if thats what it will take I will have to make that decision. One, I understand their perspective of wanting to hear of Ruhksati having occured. Second is that there is probably more false marriages from those who go overseas, show pictures of Ruhksati to satisfy officers without consumating marriage. Not like officer was in bedroom watching, but you have to draw the line somewhere.

However, I also wanted to add that I find it unsettling that if Canadian officials are based out of Dubia due to fears of the Pakistan security situation that they would ask Canadians to risk travel to satisfy those who would perfer not travel.

In the end, this is how it is and I will find away to go to Pakistan soon.

i see it thank you canpak...

Guys, sorry to bother you again, but have one more question.
My husband's address changed. now that I have to tell them that I am in Canada, can I also tell them that my husband's address has changed OR does my husband have to send them a letter?
Please advice.
