Hello Everyone,

Just wanted to share an update on my case( I am sponsoring my husband in Pakistan)

ECAS has been updated and shows as in-process. Application processing started at CHC-ISL on March 23,2010.

My Timeline is as follows:

Application Sent to CPC-M: 02 Feb, 2010
Application Recvd at CPC-M: 04 Feb, 2010
Sponsorship approved by CPC-M: 02 Mar, 2010
Application transferrd to CHC-ISL: 02 Mar, 2010
PR Application In-process CHC-ISL(as per ECAS): 23 Mar, 2010

My husband hasn't received the AOR yet, so waiting anxiously for that.

Good Luck everyone! MY prayers are with all those who have been anxiously waiting to reunite with their spouses. InshAllah everyone will get good news soon.

hey thats really discouraging.. last summer my friend also sponsored her husband. it took about 5 months.

I'm sponsoring my hubby from Islamabad, mailing out the application tomorrow inshAllah.

P.S. I'm curious.. why is it taking so long for people on this forum? has the process slowed down since last year? thats odd...

My Application status is also updated to "In process" with detail "We started processing application on March 23, 2010. " on Ecas but i havn't Received AOR yet. hope to receive very soon

Well S.K no 1 knows how much time they would take it matters from case to case and luck plays most important role here
The waiting time has so much variance that you just can't pass a judgment on logical grounds and I have all the hopes in getting it very soon for all of us who are away from spouse and miss each other with every breath

Yes InshaLLAh soon. Ok m entering in the real queue now as I received AOR today I have got AOR containing my File number along with a supplementary information form. would be sending back on my earliest.

Our case started processing in Islamabad from mid february 2009. Husband had an interview second week of january 2010. Since then no communication. made an inquiry through MP and came to know the file is in queue to be reviewed by senior officer. Usually the senior officer reviews when there is a concern. I dont know whats the percentage of approval if the file goes to senior officer. Do you or anyone have any idea?

For me They started processing my husbands file in Islamabad in jan 24, 2009,,and I kept getting letters or emails after 3 months....YES my husband did get interview for his first sponsor This is 2nd sponsor im doing AND NO dis time he didnt get interview this time bc i guess i got married their and i met him sended all evidences they wanted.....and my file was in queue review in December,,Now its Under review by the Officer,,,,Saima dont worry you shud get news also from APRIL-JUNE inshallahh,,,,,buh did u email them yet, and why did ur husband got a interview soo late? soo maybe right now the senior officer is reviewing ur file inshallah dont worryyy hell come soon...just dont think to much abt it,,,,,just pray to god we shud hear news soon..
