Come on guys share your Spouse Sponsorship time for CHC Islamabad, Pakistan

My Name is Baseera Qalanderi, I sponsered my husband almost two years ago and its still in process, the process started April,1,2008 and he had an interview May,04,2009 and when I check the application status on CIC website its says its in process I am so upset whats happening I do not know ... I hope to hear something by summer

they started processing my husbands case in mid dec.

Hi Everyone!

I gone through different Immigration Forums, I noticed one very interesting thing, 80 to 90%, Delayed and Problematic Family Sponsorship Cases with CIC-I are those where Sponsor is WIFE...
I do not know what is the reason behind it, There is something wrong, There can be a reason, in Canada things are very calculated and under continues observation Intentionally or Un intentionally, I been to different part of Canada, GUYS & GALLS please do not mind but I am just revealing the truth, I meat lot of people form Pakistani Community - Diverse Rate is more between Couples where SPONSOR was WIFE.. May be due to Cultural and Social miss match, there are lots of reasons, cannot discuss everything here....
So this thing is surly under Canadian Govt. Observation, and this could be the main factor for delay in Sponsorship cases where SPONSOR is Wife...

It’s my Personal Opinion, Could be Wrong….

My timelines u already know just 4 ur info..............................my wife sponsored me on 20th feb through cpc-missisauaga n i got AOR on 21st April so u can count my time if u r waiting 4 same in my case my wife is in Quebec so we got Quebec Selection Certificate on 31st March I hope this wil give u any idea n yes I m surfing many site but no update from any site seeeems to b as CHC Islamabad is not working at all n also they way i got letters I calculate that they r opening file after every 3 months almost as in my case file opened on 21st April then after 2 months n 27 days on 18th july 09 got a letter asking 4 additional character certificates of few places where i hv lived during my services........................then again got letter on 12th october 09 which means after 2 months n 24 days asking 4 my services details which was absurd as i gave all those details in my primary application while applying so ...................now i m v hopeful counting the times that i will get final letter INSHALLAH about in 1st or 2nd week of january or might b in last week of december so let c wt happens ..................................

Salam, Did you get a letter from them? I am wondering whats happening cause I do not get any letters from them and its really making me stressed out and frustrated... someone let me know if any change thanks

Hi asimkhan, we are happy to hear from CHC but at the same time are nervous about what is their concern. I heard they call for interview when there is a concern. Our case started processing on second week of feb 2009. We have submitted additional docs twice during this time; once when I visited Lahore in feb and once recently when I got employed. each time we also submitted more proof of contact mainly chat logs and call record. They sent interview letter last week with a date just three weeks ahead which was a little surprising as I thought they send interview letter with 4 to six weeks ahead time. I am waiting for CAIPS to see if we can find any clue. we hope and pray the interview goes well and after the interview they issue the visa soon as I know some people waiting 6 months after interview and no info for them.

CHC was quiet because as per my MP staff during the end of the year they warp up cases which are almost nearing the end, they want to issue as many visas to them as possible to increase the number of visa fanalized in that year. I think it reflects of their efficiency.

Tell me a bit about your case if you dont mind.

Well soryy to jump in and tell you my story My husband had an interview May 2009 and we are still waiting for his Visa its almost 1 Year after the interview so I hope to hear something by end of April cause thats when they started his case processing April 2008 I am waiting still have hope and Inshallah it will happen

Called at CIC - they told that File received at CHC - Islamabad at 7th December and they opened file on 28th December, my wife received AOR on 2nd Jan-2010

They told it will more couple of weeks to be available status on ecase.

is it normal with every applicant ?

Can you please tell me, how do u call them casue when I called they told me how they cannot give any info over the phone I have to email them or fax , help anyone

Waiting for response from them after my husband's interview in begining january; they did not reject or approve, no remedical given. Thats what makes things so uncertain. At the end of the interview when my husband asked how long it will take, the officer said about two months. We dont know what it meant, a yes or no. We are counting days, anxiouslt waiting....its so hard to be away. Its going to be 14 months since I filed the app in Mississuaga. Anyone got any news after the interview and did the get the remedical after the interview?

Well my husband had an interview may,04,2009 and we havnt heard anything since... when he was done interview he was asked to sigh some papers and give the copy of his passport and he can go noting else... still waiting ???

hey thats when my hubby got his AOR he didn't receive one other i think it for ppl apply jan 2010 and after.....where exactly is your case peacekeeper...my hubby's is in background check

how do u know its under background check cause I wana know wat they are doing with my application its so stuped cause they do not give u any info or update on cic website in process everytime I check

They cannot give an update to every applicant on daily basis due to bulk of applications. So you will have to be calm and wait for your turn

Your opinions r quite RIGHT ... just an addition as per our Paki culture girls normally dont do jobs so their backgound checks r v limited or less but in boys case we do jobs so long checks also our criminal records show that girls r less involved in overall crimes ratio of PAK so again in case of Boys they hv to do strict checks ................ but its LOGICAL at same althought i m sufferer but still I wontlike any criminal person entering that country n making my kidsfuture unsafe ............... only thing whch i dont like is they shud update us aleast which they can do v easily in this high tech time ...

Hmmmmmmmmmmm no dear nothing at all i submitted my services details which they asked me on 12th october 2009 n that was last contact then i sent them emailsquite a time n once they replid that ur case is IN PROCESS .......now 3 week back my wife contacted her MP in montreal canada n he told them that my case is in background checks wo we shud wait till 21 april 2010 n if no news till then contact again ................. thats all

Contact ur MP n he/she can tell u after confirming from embassy on ur case ....... or get CAIPS Notes i would recommend CAIPS NOTES they gives u insight picture of ur case n if u r in canada then its totall freeeee as wel if u further need help on this topic cimple write CAIPS NOTES in googlen u will get all details ok tc AH
