Hello everyone,
sponsored: dec 2010,
File Transferred: January 2011
CHC Islamabad started processing application: Feb 2012
current status: in process

CHC did send us a letter in march 2012 asking for updated PCC and asked for some new forms to fill in, which we did n sent back within the given timeframe. In May 2012 somebody telephoned my husband from CHC Islamabad and asked for updated medical, to which my husband responded that he did not get any letter pertaining to medical. He told my husband that he will send the medical papers / letter to my husband directly, instead of sending them to our lawyer in Canada. It has been 9 months to that call and we did not recieve anything in mail. I emailed them about a month ago and no reply in email. So worried! anybody had a similar situation?

I m pretty sure they forgot to send the mail containing remedical request, Contact your MP instead of your lawyer to communicate with CHC-ISB

It is also advisable to order your GCMS notes to see if they actually issued his remedical or changed their mind which they do sometimes that they issue and then they cancel which means it never gets sent out

They have special dushmani with us Interview applicants so the call which ZiaulHaq received may help in our cases also.
They may also inquire about or medical results.
But I was not in interview queue why would they do this to me....70 days my passport out...no hecking news.....

Calling special dushmani is bcuz they kept us in interview queue for such a long time. People from Karachi like me had to travel to ISB a day before interview get an hotel extra money spent :P had to provide extra documents :P had to suffer for more then 3 years blah blah blah and guess what torture isn't over yet.

Side note i flew all the way from Toronto to Lahore and we drove down to Islamabad for the interview ... which luckily they allowed me to attend with my hubby and he passed. V.O said on paper our marriage didn't seem genuine as we are from 2 different cultures but she said after seeing the 2 of us TOGETHER she was stunned and had no doubt that our marriage was in fact genuine.

Lesson: You can't put a price on it, so i won't complain that it cost me so much money throughout this entire process because in the end it was all worth it.

mentioning price does not mean that I am complaining that I had to spend money. It was an extra burden on us like other extra stuff we had to do.
Flying to Pakistan from Toronto was your own decision CHC-ISB did not call you for an interview. They called your husband he could have passed the interview like all of us did without our spouses being present at the interview.

ACTUALLY she advised that she would have rejected him had it not been for my multiple visits to Pak (6) all together and she told me she was schocked and impressed that i came, and THATS why she approved us. Interview took all but 10 min.

So you really shouldn't be commenting on my case if you don't know the jist of it and being that you weren't there.

In addition all cases are different so you really can't say he would have been approved if i didn't go when i know for a fact he would have been refused.

All i'm saying is that we shouldn't be putting a price on this as in the end it won't even matter to us, just as long as we get what we deserve, which is our spouses getting their Visas. Doesn't matter how we get there, just as long we get there eventually.

What do you mean he is our Master???

So if someone has a different opinion then him that makes them wrong??

I am not afraid to speak my mind, and i'm not disrespecting anyone here im just giving my two senses (which i thought we were allowed to do)

And this has "NOTHING TO DO WITH IMMIGRATION STUFF" this is about common sense.

Well...i am not defending anyone...we all are here to share things and no one can do anything...all guys are helpless here...we just share our experience and make guesses and that is it....he is more experienced since he spent more time here....
