I think you're wrong because after the DR. informed him that passed the dr. completed the forms stamped it and mailed it off. The forms were completed.

You might want to check with your sources because i know ND was no where involved.
jo mailed off kia wo ND mai hee kia.... its impossible that CHC-ND is not involved. Mera to personal experience bhi hai, also IOM Karachi tells us that they will be sending it to ND. Don2 is right (as other Dons ;))

Where are you getting this info from??

My hubby went to get his medical done by one of the locations listed on the cic.gc website for Lahore. He completed his medical, dr advised him he passed and mailed the medical report over to Islamabad. ND was no where involved

I thought all all applicant medical goes to New Delhi I didn't know they do it in ISB as well :S

Oh I meant that I only told what ND stands for. It is true that medical results of all countries in South Asia are mailed to CHC-ND by respective DMPs. DMPs only conduct med exam and send reports and findings to CHC-ND to get it decided. Ok or not complete or not etc. And this you can also confirm with your DMP in lahore. Regards

And also where your DMP mailed that off was also to CHC-ND. Its impossible that CHC-ND is not involved. Our is personal experience. Don2 is right (like other DONs ;))

Please check re check your sources :) each and every medical goes out to ND for processing. DMP(IOM) in Pakistan is not authorized to process medicals they just conduct the medical and forward everything to ND. Its now up to you if u believe or not :) or u still believe your doctor.

omg you solved my confusion that's what I have always heard it has been ND for all applicant never ever heard such thing as they will process it in Pakistan and my MP said that's one main reason why it takes longer cause it goes to ND until chc gets the answer it takes a lil longer

ND's medical center is taking hell lot of time to process the medical of Pakistani applicants I wonder if its on purpose or they are over worked.

Yeah god knows but I agree with you I think MrsM's doctor confused her, he/she probably meant to say exactly what you are saying but he/she couldn't explain it properly to make her understand..

Guys don't take me wrong but if Indian's are doing this on purpose I am gona curse them.. lol and I mean it

Mujhe past 2 years mai ye andaza hua hai k husband case mai PPR k baad bhi BG check hotay hain due to already prolonged time thats y delay in PP return and wife case uunka PP return late hota hai jin ka PPR remed k saath aaya ho....and koi esa case hai jis mai vice versa ya isse kuuch different hai to wo kisi ka case specific hai jis mai ND ya CHC ki direct involvement nahi hai... jese incomplete med etc

Nahi brother PPR k baad background check nahi hota whether its husband's or wife case. if you notice 2011 k cases jinke medical July ya August main hue they unko ab PPR mil raha hai aur unka visa max 2 weeks main aajata hai it includes husband and wife cases.
Hum logon k jinke interview hue hain unke PP return main bhi time lag raha hai cuz abhi tak hum logon k medical hi process nahi hue.
Zia bhai ne apna pp November main send kiya hai main ne december main. Ishaak k MP ne yehi info di k visa ready hai jese hi medical receive hoga pp return kardenge.

I guess they can start BG check with PPR as well, depends how long ago the last background was done, generally it is good for six months, in some cases they have sent PPR with RE-PCC requests and those lucky one's whose files are picked up within a year generally are waiting for long for Passport return which could be due to BG check as well.

I was talking abt unfortunate 2010 cases, 2011 mai tou bht kuuch bht sahi sahi time pe bhi hua hai... well, yes ye bhi ek observation hai k interview people ko aur bhi torture se guzrna par rha hai.... but bright side is that ab jo bhi mail aai CHC se ap k paas wo VISA nam ki cheez hee hogi inshallah.

Alhamdulilah my hubby arrived safely to Canada. It took him 1 hour and 1/2 to get to arrivals once his flight landed (that's baggage plus all immigration). He faced no problems and the process was quite smooth.

Its true, the medicals go through NEW DELHI, it is a fact and there should be no doubt.

I know because my cousin works at CHC ISB and it also shows on the CAIPS notes.
