same thing is happening to me too. I sent my pp+re-med on Dec but no news yet, I send them 4-6 emails, 2 faxes but no reply....at all...we tried to contact MP but the person who is dealing with Afghani Cases in MP office is on leave till 27th Feb.

17th...hmm.. We booked it for March 10th. Its a direct flight offered from PIA Karachi to Toronto. Less hassel for my wife. No chance of crazy delay, lost luggage or being lost at airports . Its also a shorter flight. 16-18 hours vs usual 22-25 hours. 8)

Thanks Canadian Immigrant, distrust, Jannia, Mujgani and congrats to Chaand and anyone else i may have missed. Its been busy at work. Didn't get a chance to check forum much. ;D

Congrats brother. I am so happy for you and everyone who is getting the good news. You got your passport back on the same day as my husband. Okay now I am not too worried. About four years back when I landed the landing papers use to be in a sealed envelop and to be provided to immigration officer. So I was just worried for no reason....Can I ask you if you don't mind when and where are you landing.

it is getting 2 months since i have submitted my pp+re-med but no news from visa...total 31 months since the files has reached CHC-I and 2-3 months the initial steps in Canada. Total of 31+3= 34 hecking months....
