My hubby received his passport today me so happy it almost took 26 Months his case would have been done early but due to some problem going on with july re-medicals thts y he received his pp late.

i would lyk to thxs qamalik N wes786 for being helpful.

i wish jaania,became-a-loner,R-Mujagni,sabii,impulsive,mera kawab,canadian bear case will b done soon Inshallah.

lastly i wanna say b patience its nothing to do with CIC its all about ur documents how u sended N what proofs u sending them N at what tym.

All this good news, i decided to check ecas as well. Turns out.... *drum roll... "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision." YAY!!!!! ;D ;D 8)

I know it's ridicolous but even for u it was such a long wait even though it was 16 months when you applied did you get a lawyer or MP involved, Idon't think it's fair to pass the deadline they give us..so this means for us it says 26 months, it could possibly take more than that?? Wow!! unbelievable

No rukshati after nikkah. That's what my wife and I are thinking. But they didn't even open the file until April 2012. That's when they requested updated forms.

No lawyer. Did everything myself. Lawyers can't do anything except assemble your file. I saved the money and did it myself. I did contact the MP in September. All he found out that file is in background checks and on its way to be completed in feb 2013 (26th month) so within timeline.

my mp told me at nov 10 file is in background check and contact again if you did not hear anything with in 3 month....

canadianbear is your Mp write the same or write that "your file should be completed before Feb2013"

i just contact again and waiting what they told....

I talked to my MP's assistant yetserday who told me that four cases are reported to him where Medical report sent by DMP in Pakistan has been lost by TCS on its way to new Dehli, so if your E-Case does not state MEDICAL RECEIVED after six weeks from date of Medical, you may like to talk to your DMP (Designated Medical Practitioner)

i had my interview yesterday luckily my husband was with me they took 1 hour it was v v tough but thanks allah they said they are satisfied with us and going to send us medical request in 10 days

My application was filed in feb 2011 and medical had been done in oct 2011. I got the supplementary forms in first week of march 2012. Since then, i heard no news. Even they didn't ask for remed..is anybody there who is in same situation. It's very frustrating but still keeping hope.

yes it is a nikah-only case and ruksati has been expecting on 1st week of march 2013. Nikah-only cases take time, i recently came to know!

A month or more but really if you have not done rukhsati, it is unlikely (though not impossible) that they would do anything on your case because as per their standards established at CHC-ISB, the marriage CONSUMMATES with Rukhsati in our culture, so you may like to submit proof of Rukhsati and then give them about 3-6 months to review your proof before you inquire and just hope and pray that they dont put you in interview que (God Forbids)
