Hey,

Just got an update from my better half ;). Passport received by Ahmed. E-Case status changed today to In Process after 26 months since applied, it had been application received. Also details say "We started processing your application on January 29, 2013."

I hope that helps.

Thanks Lonely without my hubby and Canada22339. No more crappy chairs... only shopping malls :P (for my wife at least :P)

Add me to the list of people waiting on PP return.

Cheers,

CB

Grrrrreaaat Islamabad sponsorship time has gone up to 28 months

I feel Pity for all the new applicants who are going to feel this torture and imagine about those who will trap in the interview.

I think this is also a sign that us Pakistanis continue to marry in Pakistan no matter what. I was under the false impression that fewer people would marry n Pakistan due to these ridiculous waiting times but it seems to me that this is not the trend.

I think if this continues ratio of Pakistani Immigrants marrying in home country will decline significantly and they will prefer marrying in Canada. Same thing now happens in USA.

Yes sir I just checked it this morning on CIC website and guess what timeline is increasing only for Pakistan.

Hello Guys, I am from Afghanistan and our immigration stuff are being carried from CHC Islamabad Pakistan. Recently my husband received Passport request and sent his passport to CHC Islamabad. I have been almost 1 month that he hasnt got it back. He receive both re-medical and passport request. He has already signed an offer letter with a company as a software engineer and he promised them that he will be in Canada by 25th Feb. Will he make it happen? or is there anyway we can expedite the process to get his visa sooner? thanks

Damn it, how can they keep passport for this long?. He has Pakistani visa valid for 30 days duration and it is already expired, once the visa gets expired he wont be able to get the exit and entry stamps on the border....then they will create problem for him in Kabul airport asking for exit and entry stamps of border. it is gonna be hard...i dont know why CHC is not considering these things.....

are you sure? I saw on the list above for someone it took only 53 days. It is killing me...he got a very well paid job offer in Canada and he needs to join them soon, not later then 25th Feb +/- 10 days would be fine but not more then this....

I am just making a guess 53 days one was the only case for Zia Bhai, Jaania and Ishaak it has been more then 2 and half months now and no news.
he might wanna talk to the employer in canada and ask them to extend the deadline to be on the safe side.
Yes it took more then 30 months to all of us as a matter of fact If I count from day we sent application then this month it will be 3 years for me and still counting on Passport return.
