Sis you should not call him ....... go and meet him ..... they will ask u to fill up a form ....... plus i would suggest dont meet the people in front desk just book an appointment with " Manager Constituency Affairs "

so true Ray , I heard from my mp that all the cases that are waiting ....... most of them are waiting for background checks ........... and its third party ........ and there is no time limit for those ............. which is______________________

today i got my GCMS report,,,according to it ,, nothing has started,,,no bckground cheking hs evn started,, i ve submitted my remedical in april and since then am waitng for PR,,,but this gcms brought sad news for me ,,,its really inhuman wid us ,,with all 2010 cases,,,
while few days back MP said that your file is ready ,,evrything is done,, then why they are not updating it in GCMS REPORT??????????????????????????????????? dnt know whts happening in chc,,,
aisa kbi hua kisi k sath ,,, mp is telling another story while GCMS is completly opposite,,it seems like those chc ppl lied to mp or in order to get rid off us mp just made a fake story

I don't think that MP is lying to you. My MP told me in June that "they are underway background checks" and in July I received an email from CIC Islamabad saying "that the background checks are being conducted". I ordered GCMS notes this week. When did you order your GCMS?

Don't worry, GCMS notes are edited in the security and eligiblity sections if the Immigration officer makes a note of not releasing this info. Your MP isn't telling you a lie. Your file is probably ready with a Bring Forward date and once the date comes, they will ask for PPR.

I don't think that MP is lying to you. My MP told me in June that "they are underway background checks" and in July I received an email from CIC Islamabad saying "that the background checks are being conducted". I ordered GCMS notes this week. When did you order your GCMS?

i ordered it in august and got the results today,,, but i wonder when MP said yOur file is ready then why thr is no activity in GCMS???
as u knw i ws waitng for PR, and dis news today has really shattered me badly... whn evrything is ready my remedical ws recieved thr wid in a weekkk then wt happpned immediatly,, i submitted repcc in decmbr 2011,,hw long ll they take for background checking???
and the worst thing is that y they are not updating anything in GCMS?????

Sis I just chekd with my mp ........ usually they dont tell full detail and some times dont get it if u dont stress it more .......... i went to MP and she said ...... ur file is going through background checks ........ and its not completed ........ I am done with medicals and all ...... its PR ........... but according to her its 3rd party checks ........... and immigration officer can not do anything til he gets reports back ....... so there is some stupid check that they initiated at step one on our files that is taking v long ......... I am thinking that we would be done in 26 or 27 months at least and at max dunno can take one more year or so .....

and in assessment note ( detaled paragraph given by immigration officer) in it it is clearly mention to snd PR with REMEDICAL. But i recieved remed only in april,,i remember on the same date ur wife also got remedical n pr.

You should email them and ask them about your case status. This will make them look into the file and realize that they havn't send you PPR yet.
