Did anybody travel via US. I got this ticket-quote from travel agent . it Calgary-Huston-Doha-Lahore for $1600. Just wondering if it's okay or should I avoid US at all? Never been to US. So not sure how do they treat at airport but heard stories that they mistreat muslim and Pakistani(not sure if these true). But my travel agent assured me that this is not the case and there wont be any problem. Any personal experience or suggestion.

By the grace of ALLAH I got My passport back with visa :

I m So over whelmed with excitement ....This is the Day I hv waited for Almost 2 years ...And eventually this night mare has come to an end .I m greatlyy thankful to ALLAH and then u guys u all helped me a lot and prayed for me and supported me through out this ordeal .Specially Danny and my love imthihan :-*
Visa was issued on 15th aug and I got it today ...Every stage of this process was horrible ...I feel like huge weight lifted off my shoulder. Just can't wait to see my hubby!!!!
InshaALLAH Every single person of this forum Will see this day v v soon ..U all r in my prayers!!!!!

Get direct flight with PIA its better in 13-15 hours u will be in Pakistan in no time lol n u will have fun with all the crazy things people do lmao

From Calgary, there is no PIA flight. For PIA i will have to go to Toronto and than take PIA

It's ok. I travelled thru Seattle. They do not treat people differently. As a matter of fact Canadians are more rude than Americans.....trust me it happened on several occasions ..anyway I preferred that way and I travelled that way too. Better than taking PIA for a 13 hr flight ...that's more torturous. Have a safe flight home
