2. micmac101 (Well they asked many questions about our relationship. How long have we known each other,when did we get married. One was about the age difference me being 58 and him 40.I had converted to Islam in 2006 and had hard times. He was intoduced to me through an online friend I had known about 4yrs.
The interviewer was impressed about my coming here to visit him several times and my husband told him i was sitting in the waiting room waiting for my husband.
We had brought more documents for them to be examined but he said they had enough already.
The interview to 2 1/2 hrs. My husband came out smiling and was told a letter would be received in the mail. Now what all this means I don't know but we hope and pray its good news coming.)

Im too from Jan 2011 n' waiting for PPR. Last week on 24th of Aug my status changed to "in Process".

i had the same query...another forum member said tht it took 45 days for his e-case to be updated. Mine has still not updated

As for the ppr it all depends on ur luck!! sometime u get it in a month and other times its longer. Gud luck

Hi all,

On July 16/12, I rec'd email from CHC-ISB saying "This application is currently in process and is in queue to be reviewed by an immigration officer. Currently, background checks are underway for this application."

On Aug 16/20, Status changed from "Application Received" to "In Process". At the same time my husband received a letter from embassy to fill it out and send it back to us with 45 days.

Does that mean, background checks have been completed and if yes why did they send this link to my husband to fill it out and send it back? This link contains travel history, educational background, personal history and all militia questionaire (btw my husband has never served any army or police/military etc).

This is really confusing me alot as I don't know what to do at this point. Early August I also sent a letter to Jason K. but so far no replies from his office. But I know his reply is also not going to help me as I read somebody on the forum posted one letter from Jason K.

Any advise???

Your file is in a queue to be reviewed as they are now waiting for the forms they sent your husband to fill out. Once they receive the forms back, they will attach it to your file and the file will be reviewed by the immigraiton officer and then further processing will take place.

Hi all,
Our's is a wife case. Our application was transferred to Islamabad in June 2011. Around May 15 2012, CHC sent us request for IMM forms, re pcc and some original documents, proof/pictures of my visit after the marriage. Even though I had already sent the proof of my Sept. 2011 visit voluntarily. Any how, we sent everything requested by June 12, 2012. To date we have not heard anything and our online status remains "application recieved". Please advice me on what should I do now. Thanks and good luck to everyone.

hello to all members

i submitted my pr application at 10 Dec 2010.this is husband case.

i got updated document and police report request letter from islammabad embassy at 22 Feb 2012 and i submitted all the information on time.

i got remedical request letter issued at 10 march 2012 and i done remedial on 6th Aprail 2012.
now 5to 6 month has been passed and i did not get anything from embassy and when i checked the application status on cic website
website still shows

application received in dec
medical has been received


i send case specific queries several time in Islamabad embassy but did not received any reply from them.

kindly let me know this timeline is normal now i am worried about my application...

i have seen over this forum that people file their application in mid of 2011 getting passport request.

its soo unfair to process application applied after.

kindly advise anything to me

Hiii mine is the same e case status I m wife case and file transfrd nov 18 re med done in March and since no update.What can we do except waiting so dont worry. this time is difficult for us but Allah swt will InshaAllah help us Aameen.
