So it is a relax time.. Just look at 2010 cases and you will know why! ;) ;)

Congratulations.. Lucky you !!!!

It is true that Islamabad office is not slow anymore but it was way too slow in the past. If you didn't notice, their speed is based on the Visa office staff and Visa quota. Unfortunately they had a strict limited quota and were short staff in 2010 and 2011 which resulted in so many cases being dragged on and completed closer to the 24 month timeline. Although Its true that a complete application package with complete details and enough proof are dealt faster than others. In the past they were reviewing files after 13-14 months, but now they are reviewing it within a month evident by your case. So be thankful to Allah that you didn't have to go through what others went through in the past. Also, its because of the efforts of the 2010-2011 applicants who lodged several complains to Immigration Canada and other authorities to decrease the processing speed which added pressure on the related authorities resulting in increased visa quota and more staff in Islamabad in 2012. So you should also be thankful to those who made efforts to speed up the processing. All the very best in your future.

Just an update from our side.

My wife received her second re-medical request this morning to be completed in 25 days at the IOM Canadian Health Assessment Office.

We are still waiting for an interview and I am wondering if anyone else (in the interview queue or having completed the interview) had an expired medical, received a remedical request before having an interiew scheduled?

Trying to understand if this is a normal step leading to an interview or if there is a potential the interview could be cancelled where a PPR could follow shortly after this remedical.

Thanks,

CanPak

Hey i think its a good sign for you it looks like that they cancell your interview and procced without it which is the good thing.you can order gcms notes just to see the status of your application.
