MY CASE WAS NOT STRAIGHT ONE BUT IT WAS MAINLY DELAYED CUZ OF SECURITY INTERVIEW THAT I ATTENDED ON 19TH JUNE 2012 IN KARACHI CONSULATE.

Hello everyone,

I recently got my GCMS notes and need your help to understand something. In my notes, it is mentioned that i have passed the eligibility and criminality. My status has gone to "in-process" on June 13th. Also under the Notes section it is mentioned on June 16th that "PHEP PREPARED AND ATTACHED TO FILE. REG: PLS ISSUE MEDS AND SEND PHEP". The bring forward date is July 12th, 2012 but so far i have not received any letter from them. Is it normal? Are they waiting for their quota?

Yeah it is normal they take their sweet time to send it !
But u should email them or ask ur Mp to email them and ask abt the status of ur application ...Then in their reply they would tell u that either they hv sent it to u and they r going to send u in coming couple of days.

looks like 2010 cases have picked alot since AUGUST MAY BE ITS IDEPENDENCE GIFT

INSHALLAH NEXT IS INTERVIEW LIST THATS GONNA GET SMALLER

THERE IS NO DOUGHT THAT THE TIMELINE IS AVERAGED OUT AT 14-16 MONTHS FOR 80% OF APPLICANTS

I NOTICED SINCE JULY ALOT OF CASES ARE COMPLETED WITHIN 8-10 MONTHS

2 FROM DECEMBER ALREADY GOT PPR'S AND NO MED REQUIRED AND ALSO ONE FROM 2012

Unfortunately 99 % of the time it takes minimum of a year time before they call anyone for the interview, in some cases people are waiting for around 2 years. The reason for that is that when visa officer thinks that marriage does not seems to be legit, then they want to wait for an other year or more to see if this couple still shows good ties towards each other and if they are not satisfied with the interview then they would either reject the case or reschedule for the second interview (which is quite rare).
