I guess u r in Edmonton too.
Why everything is happenning in Edmonton for the first time since I got here. That must be an excuse.
By the way pedestrians don't let me drive since they keep walking n crossing streets why can't they get a car or stay home. And how come they have the right of way if I do let them walk. Roads a for cars not pedestrians. I am sorry that's not fair.
Well healthcare jobs are not here. And I ain't going to Norway cuz chc will find me there.

I am from Edmonton ....Its not an excuse lol ......... it really happened for first time ... well its same rule for pedestrians throughout North America .... they have right of way .... otherwise people will driver over them .........
health care is very regulated profession .... u take course from NAIT or Uof A or its very hard ..........

That's one thing I am thankful of in this country is that pedestrians have the right of way.
Out of all the countries I've visited, Pakistan has got to be the worst for foot traffic, even more so than China.
It once took me 20 minutes to cross a street in the Pak; I'd imagine India to be on par though :D

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted some opinions...my wife has her remed today and will be sending in the Passport tomorrow to CHC-I...considering the overall speed from my timeline, what's the chance of having it back by mid-late August?

I'm visiting my wife soon, that was pre-planned and I didn't even dream of PPR already, what do the seniors think of adding a letter that explains that I'm coming anyways on vacation and it would be ideal from every standpoint that I can take her back to Canada this time? Wouldn't hurt right? To explain circumstance and ask for some consideration?

Timeline:
Jul2011 Apply
Sep2011 Transfer
June 2012 In Process
July 2012 Remed/PPR

Thanks

Is it better to buy one-way ticket or round trip for the wife when she gets visa? Any members with such experience can help? Thanks.

I would say, don't tell them till your wife gets the visa, sometimes they hold the processing if sponsor is visiting out of Canada to the applicant, rest is all upto you, final decision would be yours.
secondly, you have PPR and medical together, so it takes upto 90 days in some cases

What's NAIT? Btw I m thinking of searching for another 2 weeks n then will go to U of A for some counseling. I don't think it will be hard just time consuming. Let's see.

Interview Experiences:

1. ranasahib (bass woohi normal question thay g just history puchi or relationship kay ooper kuch question thay bass interview letter say pahlay caips zarooh order karnah bec mijay last caips jo mary interview say 1 week pahlay milay ossy say mijay sary help milly jiss waja say mayrah interview achaa huwah allaha ka sukar hai)

2. micmac101 (Well they asked many questions about our relationship. How long have we known each other, when did we get married. One was about the age difference me being 58 and him 40.I had converted to Islam in 2006 and had hard times. He was intoduced to me through an online friend I had known about 4yrs.
The interviewer was impressed about my coming here to visit him several times and my husband told him i was sitting in the waiting room waiting for my husband.
We had brought more documents for them to be examined but he said they had enough already.
The interview to 2 1/2 hrs. My husband came out smiling and was told a letter would be received in the mail. Now what all this means I don't know but we hope and pray its good news coming.)

I guess my post-PPR era/pre-visa era is like pregnancy. Its in its 4th month now. Hahahaha.

It has to complete the full 9 months I guess. Hahahaha.

I have learned from New Delhi applicants that in some cases, the visa is issued and Passport is returned but it still does not show Decision Made on Ecas.
