aur ab 15 august 2012 ko expire hoga no ppr yet caips notes says all is well 30th may reply that my file is with decision making officer after that i emailed them still no reply

I don't have much of a timeline but the file for my wife's sponsorship has been sent to Islamabad on June 21, 2012.

I guess now I just forget about it for over a year.

Not a bad Idea because if you keep your hopes too high then you are the one who would get heart badly in the process and Chc does not give a damn any way. But prayer/dua may help your process, so try that if it works. Good luck.

Yes, prayers and duas are always there. Another thing I'd like to ask is:

I sent in my application in February and on the application status it says that it was received on March 1, 2012. My wife turned 18 AFTER that date, so I couldn't send in her ID card or Police check since it was required if she was 18+. I'm sure they will ask eventually. So my question is should I be pro-active and send it right away or wait for them to ask for it.

kasam se - you should send it 4-5 months later because right now your file is not going to reviewed for a while and in that time you don't want the police check to expire because I think police check expires in 6 months. So you should send it closer to the they are going to do your preliminary assessment - which I seeing is roughly around 7-8 months for the newer cases.. good luckj
