one question .... if chc calls the applicant n asks a few questions n tells them that
they will be sending another two letter in the mail......... are they jus testing the applicant to see if they are in Karachi
coz ma husband told me that the call was for him, n the guy on the phone said we are doing back ground check on u and need more information on your history of how long u been in Pakistan and wat u do for a living.........

n so far its been almost a week n we havent received anything from CHC
becuz i still have the other forms they send n ready to be send...... now im wondering is CHC actualli sending ma husband the other two letter they said... or am i wasting time on waiting?????????????????????????

and they said the guy on the phone said if u make one mistake on ur form again we will refuse ur case? why the heck would they say that? n im sure they arent allowed to say things like tha on the phone?

I HATE CHC
i guess there was mistake or u missed something to fill last time thats why they sent you same form again ...and as they are already giving you time to fill those forms again and if same mistake happens again ,thats why that guy on ph said that they gonna refuse your case.
make sure you are filling your forms correctly and may be get some help to fill those forms so that there is no mistake this time.....

hello everyone im going to apply for caips next week as some of you have suggested me. I have also reason to believe there are some discrimination going on and this is why some 2010 cases are still not hearing anything and 2011 people are already here in canada or going to be very soon. After i get my caips back im going to assess it and also i will be consulting with some lawyers about what kinds of document/ information i need to begin a lawsuit for not only gender but also religious and racial discrimination. In Canada we have strong equal rights laws and I think it should be carried out in our embacys all over the world, this long processing times for Pakistanis and short for India and other countries is very shameful for Canada that our governemnt treats people like this and I am going to do everything in my power to change this. If any of you have suggestions or facts about your case that i can record so i have supporting info please inbox me and I will keep you all updated. I hope this helps, or at least stop this injustice from continuing

Here is the article I wrote about chc.

SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP FROM PAKISTAN

Why Our Gov't has one of the slowest process for spousal sponsorship from Pakistan and currently the timeline for issuing the visa is 26 months, and the time I applied was Sept 2010 when the timeline was only 16 month, but there are many people waiting for the visa since then, and for some cases the visa is not issued for 5 years or more but on the other hand for people who need visa as student, entrepreneur or skill worker and even for trv/visitor's visa does not take more than 2 months. All of those visas include back ground check as well, but just for getting our spouses to come to Canada and before submitting the spousal sponsorship application the police clearance certificate from Pakistan, medical, marriage certificate and all the required documents are submitted with application so why they have to take years in process which is nothing but a torture. If we look at United states and United kingdom, they don’t even take this long to go through back ground check or issuing a visa whenever Canada take’s such a long time for this process just because the Gov't doesn't think that there is any benefit from the spouses even though we have to send money from Canada for our spouses and which is not good for our economy either. Whenever if husband and wife work in Canada and support Canadian economy and some of them may be looking into starting business, but the Canadian government just ignore them somehow, which is not fair and it shows that it has two tier systems, one system for the desirable by the Gov’t and the other is for undesirable by the Gov't. That is totally lacking humanity and compassion keeping families apart especially whenever this great country is known to be one of the most tolerant and humanitarian.

I can't imagine how to cope under these untenable circumstances. Especially when I see there are so many other applications which had been submitted in 2011 and so many months later after I applied, have received the visas while they just neglect some applicants for years to be interviewed or even after the interview they may take another year or so to clear those applications.
If we search through Google CHC, Islamabad spouse sponsorship Timeline 2009 -2010 and see the website called “canadavisa.com” and go to the page where it had been posted since May 18th 2011 at 7:o8 p.m. which shows 2011 applications getting through but when you check May 18th 2011at 12:18 p.m. post shows 2010 applications are still waiting to be reviewed and no visa had been issued for so long and these are just a fraction of the total immigration cases where some people know about this forum and are posting and sharing their problems.

The lack of transparency from Canadian high commission Islamabad is so depressing; one cannot anticipate what will happen at any given time with any certainty. The entire process is as intimidating as it is haphazard and arbitrary, and in dire need of revision or preferably audit, because the system is not working as first in first out but rather it’s a total chaos.

congratulation to Everyone who is getting good news !! ! !
and rest of 2010 cases especially between July and December 2010 are going to get good news in these 2 months, June and July, so relax and expect good news within these rest of 6 weeks.

According to my GCMS notes, I can see if we tell them anything in the email or fax them regarding our future planning, they wait for that information and put the file on hold. For example, I sent them email regarding my future visit to my spouse, Visa officer put in the notes that Sponsor is going to visit the principle applicant, wait for him to go back to Canada and ask for the proofs. Second time they were waiting for the proofs of our visit to England together, that I told them in the email to just show them ongoing relationship but I didn't know that they are holding the file and waiting for those proofs until I read my GCMS notes.
So if any of you send them any email and you think that needs proof then you should submit that otherwise they keep file on hold and wait for that information even without letting applicant know.
